Yes, they shoot up a flower stem, it's about a metre, bees love them.

Hi there! thanks for the compliment! means so much to us, you have no idea. We live in South Africa, (11a - 12b) but we also have different climates, we situated in a sub tropical area within South Africa. So lot of sun, and lot of bugs. lol

It depends on what Variety of coleus you have, Ive had that purple coleus for years! 😁

Yes, when landscaping, it's important to plant plants close so as to look established already. These coleus I used in this video don't grow much higher, it also depends on what variety you use and under what growing condition it was grown. Have an Awesome day 😁

@@gardendeeds Thanks for your reply. That is part of what confused me. I assumed (unless a customer wants otherwise, I guess) that when landscaping, one would leave room for the plants to grow....that it naturally will take a llittle while for a bed to have fully mature look. Unless, of course, the plants you're planting are already mature (but if that's the case, they are probably much more expensive than something that has to grow a bit still). Anyway....thanks for your input.
