I have never been able to swim, despite always being athletic. I would swim one lap of the pool, floundering like a dead fish, absolutely exhausted by the end. And had to resort to breast-stroke swimming to catch my breath.
Last year after contracting covid and becoming a long-hauler. I started swimming more as part of my recovery. During this time I decided that once and for all I was going to learn.
Pulling from both @timferriss and @tiswim I focused on 4 strategies: 1) Learning to Float 2) Learning to Reach 3) Learning to Kick Less 4) Learning to Breath.
