perception is everything... Because you think you have to be right all the time to make money Most profitable traders are very low accuracy 30-40% But they hold their winners for big profits

this was EXACTLY me this 2 days ago this past thursday Sept 17 2020 on TSLA, except with bullish calls. I think i really needed this video. THANK YOU for walking through your trades and your psychology. I felt those same order of emotions, from letting my ego deny my thesis was wrong, to feeling like this new loss is still far smaller than the major loss i just took(i'm already down X, what's x more...), all the way to not recognizing my small wins as wins, but rather 'how much more do i need to break even...' Ended the day just trying to emotionally digest being down half my roth... It's comforting to know that other people have gone through this rollercoaster and are still successful. It's a reassuring reminder that it's part of the game and necessary for growth. I learn way more from recognizing mistakes vs just looking at the profit(which can be just false positives). Every session isn't about making a day of profit with me, it's about refining my skills in hopes to more consistently make profits in the future.(don't just eat the fish, learn to fish better)

Your description of the mental side of a bad trading day, is exactly what I have been through. I just started a couple of months ago, and your explanation reassures me that even great traders go through what I am experiencing right now. Thank you!

Jason Lin This is very important for your trader development: Most profitable traders have an acurracy win rate of 30-40% ..closer to 30% ...that's the research and word on the street This means even with all their knowledge and experience for YEARS... They are wrong 70% of the time...and they FULLY KNOW this Does this mean their stupid...or are they going to beat them selves up...put pressure on every trade and it's outcome...put pressure on I MUST be profitable everyday.... The answer is NO They understand the game is RISK Because they are wrong 70% of the time and now they have learned to hold their winners This is why tracking your trades and everything you think about can we tracked the percentages and you’re definitely understand what’s going on

Very good video. So refreshing to see a trader on YT sharing his losing trade and not just the winners. We can learn from both. Hey I use on my lower indicator the RSI, MACD, and the Stochastic. Although not always correct these indicators help me to get in at a pretty reasonable entry at support or resistance. And you're sharing about the mental part of making trades really was a home run with me, because I've questioned my ability to trade after I've made questionable trades. Thanks for sharing and being honest about having a lost. Peace out.

I saw this video initially a few months ago and I had to come back today and watch those first 5minutes because, even though I know this, it’s very hard to step out of a big loss and listen to myself with all this mix of emotions. As social beings we are, it helps tremendously to listen the advice I know from someone else. Last week I made 10k and just this morning I lost 12.2k and it hits so damn hard. This game is one where your psychological mindset will match your results and so I thank you for mentoring me aswell as others.

This video qualifies as one of the best on trading. Its a very important video. I've been through similar experience . That is what happens when traders momentarily forget about trading Psychology, emotional and risk management. Thumbs up.... well done for making it. My story :: I was in a big draw down, then I aggressively tried to recover my loss..The loss got even bigger. I then walked away from the computer. Came back determined to avoid the mistakes I made, managed to recover my losses with a tiny of profit. I then tried to end the day up. Sadly I dug myself another hole. At that point I was very pissed off, shutdown the PC for the day. Every trader should often be reminded that to make money trading is hard BUT its easy to loose money, its even easier to carelessly throw away money while trading.
