Omg the tip about cardio giving diminishing results over time! Nobody I talk to knew this and I feel like it took me 10 years to learn that cardio is not a sustainable fitness routine for me at all, at one point I was doing 2.5 hours a days and I was crying miserable that it seemed impossible for me to progress! For weights it's not the same, I can build a routine and stick to it every day and still have the same benefits every time , i'm so glad people are talking about this. I have a very similar sounding body type to you, 5'2 petite but I gain fat extremely easy! Keto foods are a lifesaver and the less white sugar I've ate over the past 2 years the more i'm kinda convinced that nobody should be eating it lol, my mood is crazy when im eating lots of it / craving more / detoxing from it and some people can be in these 3 stages throughout the day multiple times and not even know it is affecting their mood. I might have to get on tiktok for some of those recipes and start meal prep-ing after this video, loved all the the tips and hope you have a good new year!

I feel like us short girls have it hard, we don’t have enough room for even fat distribution 😂 yes Tik Tok weight loss recipes are bomb! Hope you have an amazing year as well.

I'm watching this again because I want to give up. Weighted myself, and i haven't lost any weight. I have a small frame, and i have so much weight to lose. Tuned into this video again for inspiration.

Don’t give up Marquetta! Weight loss is always an up and down journey. I just started back tracking my calories since I have been at a standstill too. You’ll see results eventually if you keep going 💕

Hi Monique! Congratulations on your weight loss! I’m so THANKFUL to have found your channel. I’m 5’2 and you are my body twin lol. It’s so hard to find people on a weight loss journey who are our body shape. Like you, I carry my weight in my mid section. Thank you so much for the motivation. Please keep these types of videos coming. I would love to see your fitness routine.

Job well done!! Cardio is very important it just depends on how you do it. I ride about 5 days per week and I use my bicycle to run my errands. Jan 2023 I was 193 lbs and now I am 165 lbs. You are right if you pounding on your body you can risk gaining weight. Dec 2023 I had goal to ride 480 miles in one week, I actually put on 3 lbs. Rest and recovery is vital to getting the benefit out of Cardio otherwise you will just damage your body. Question, do you monitor your potassium intake. We always told watch the salt but never to get in enough potassium. Low potassium can give the same effect of havig too much salt. Salt and Potassium are equally essential.

480 miles wow! Yes rest/recovery is such an essential part. No, I have not monitored my potassium but I will check out the benefits, thanks!

Hey I'm just curious, when u said u do the sugar free substitutes, did u do that w your Greek yogurt as well? Cuz i know u said u love your Greek yogurt but I find a lot of sugar free yogurts taste kinda bland to me
@MoniqueRenewed7 ай бұрын
Hi Olivia. When I get the Greek yogurt it usually has very low sugar. I use it for many purposes like as a replacement for sour cream or to make my own salad dressing. If I want like a sweet yogurt, I add my own sweetener to it like honey, agave, stevia, or apple sauce. Or I buy individual favored Greek yogurt with low sugar.

what’s your take on intermittent fasting?
@MoniqueRenewed7 ай бұрын
I’ve tried it but it’s not really my preference. I do think it can be beneficial towards weight loss and managing illnesses/inflammation but it may not be for everyone.
