I wanted to create a natural vivarium setup that was interesting both for the lizards and me as their caretaker. The reptiles living in this now completed vivarium are a pair of Blue Tree Monitors (Varanus macraei). These were a dream monitor lizard for me to obtain and I wanted to give them the best natural vivarium setup that I could provide. Tree monitors are very much a rain forest reptile and are highly active, needing as much space as you can give them.
