This easy-to-make stove burns common hardware store alcohol for a powerful flame that you can use for camp cooking or survival. And you can build it in 5 minutes out of a couple of beer cans!
It will even support a pot on its own and doesn't need a separate pot stand like other aluminum can stoves. This video shows you how.
All you'll need is:
- 2 aluminum soda or beer cans.
- 1 pair of scissors that will cut the cans (basically any scissors)
- 1 pushpin to put holes in the can.
- 1 pair of needlenose pliers.
- 1 book to use as a measuring tool.
- A tiny bit of manual dexterity.
- Alcohol to burn in the stove. Normal Methyl Hydrate from any hardware store is fine.
- Something to light the stove with.

RAM Mounts. I've found that RAM mounts are a versatile solution for mounting cameras, microphones, and other bits to each other and various mounting points.

Simple, durable, and economical with great performance.
Zoom H1 or H1n Audio Recorder:
amzn.to/3rXGohg (USA) Pick the "pre 2018" model for the H1 otherwise you'll get the H1n

The H1 is an outstanding little recorder that's harder to find now. They record for hours on a single AA battery. Their replacement is the H1n. Somewhat more functionality but now require 2 AAA batteries. My equipment is standardized on AA and I have nothing else that requires AAA batteries so am loathe to buy something that requires another type of battery.
A nice alternative that runs on 2 AA batteries is the Tascam DR-07X.

Movo VXR10 Micro shotgun Mic. Better and cheaper alternative to Rode Video Micro.

Laptop, Asus Zenbook. I have an older model but it's been an outstanding compact machine. For video editing, choose one with at least 16GB RAM and an I7 processor:
