@@dmr2812If you really want move you can get a call center job or get a online job from the states . The key is getting residual income because the Dominican Republic does not pay much at all . So if you don’t want to wait you have to find a way to get some income coming in every month . That is the key 🔑 thanks for your comment

For one year my children went to school in Puerto Rico now they are finishing up in the United States. They are with my mother. They did not want to go to school in the Dominican Republic. They wanted to go to a regular school they graduate next year. 🙌🏽💪🏽 . But to answer your question, there is a lot of PRIVATE English schools in Santo Domingo in Punta Cana.

Just come first and look at the area That’s the best thing to do it so many options so so many options and it’s very easy to get a apartment

That’s a great question I guess I’m not the average person but I think it takes about four years for the average person I have learned a lot I did not know any Spanish at first and I wasn’t really trying, but now I am trying a little bit harder so 3 to 4 years you can really have Spanish down if you focus and try that’s a great question. @TheDominicanRoute yess dios bendiga 🙏🏾 everyone of my family and friends thinks I’m crazy for wanting to love to the dr one day but I know it’s possible I am a freshman in college I intend to finish culinary school here in the US, get my degree, work for a little while here and save money, than move to the dr and start a family, and get a job in the culinary field! The only negative downside is I wish I had more connections with people in the Dominican Republic I don’t know a single soul because I am Dominican yet I am adopted.

Great question but we don’t have health insurance here I just have a emergency fund and I’m just pay cash if need be . Oh my kids are insured in the United States health insurance though the government . So there’s something very serious we just fly back to the United States
