Hi Kay, I am Aditya Gupta from India. Ever since I took the first vacation out in the mountains with my parents, i have been in love with life. There so much more to the world than what we can see around everyday. Since then, i had taken a lot of trips across the country but never had a chance and/or opportunity to travel outside India. I love adventure, photography, nature, meeting new people and above all having a new experience. I would be sincerely grateful to have an opportunity to explore the world with you bit by bit. Looking forward to hear from you. You are an inspiration Kay, to many "wanting to be travelers" like myself. Thanks and cheers!

Taking a leap of faith is like jumping off a cliff and building your wings on the way down - but hey, who said adventure was for the faint of heart? I've always believed in this philosophy and have always taken my leaps of faith whenever and wherever I got a chance to, but there are a few big ones that might explain why am I sharing this story here in your comment section. I took my first leap of faith in 2019 when I moved to the Netherlands from India, to study cars- the thing I was passionate about since the time I have memories in my head. It was more a leap of faith than a conscious decision because of the heavy finances involved and me not having that strong of a financial background. Going bank to bank, I secured the loan and set out on this adventure, in my first ever air travel, completely alone and clueless. But guess what? I managed it, I leaped and grew my wings on the way down. My interest of photography goes back to when I was three or four, using an old dysfunctional Yashica film camera that my late grandfather used to own. It was my go-to toy and a lot of my childhood photos have me hanging that heavy camera on my neck or pretending to click a picture of my parents. But then I grew up and started to learn how to actually use a Kodak point and shoot, the only functioning camera my family used to own. I loved everything about the experience of clicking a picture from that very age, then be it the sound of the film whirring, the dazzle of the tiny flash or the haptic feedback of the shutter button. Time moved and so did I from the Kodak to my smartphone but deep down, I always wanted to own a professional camera. The second leap of faith relevant to the story was when in November 2020, I saw an ad for a mint condition Canon EOS 77D on Marktplaats. Totally obsessed at that point, I knew I had to get it. I did not have even close to enough savings, but I just took the train to Nijmegen and bought that camera. Although that decision made me struggle on my finances for months to come and I had to cut down a lot on my grocery costs, I would say this leap of faith was more than worth it. Since the day I got the camera, I have tried to master the art of photography and videography at every opportunity I can. I could relive the experience of those old Yashica and Kodak friends of mine that had sparked this fire in me. I started following you in June 2021 as a part of the first giveaway I ever participated, when you were getting rid of an extra Canon EF lens. Although I didn't get it, I found your profile, scrolling through which I would say has helped me learn more than a professional L-grade lens ever could. I have always appreciated your eye for detail and the art of storytelling that you possess. The color aesthetics you use are just a cherry on top. It would literally be a dream come true to actually learn from you and travel with you. I'm open to going anywhere, even a short day trip to the north of Netherlands haha, but my preference would be to travel to Japan. Japan was actually my first preference when I was applying for universities, because of their mastery in making the best mass-market cars and the overall cultural diversity that country offers. However things didn't go that well at the Universities there and I ended up here. Looking back, it was meant to be like this but Japan is still on the top of the places I would love to visit, only if I had the finances, however cutting down on even a year of groceries won't let me save enough for this one xD. I think Japan offers the perfect blend of traditional and modern, natural and urban; and more the diversity, more the stories a place has to tell. I would love to find out these stories and bring them to life with you as your understudy. As a mere entry to a giveaway, it might seem like a small thing but for me this is yet another attempt at a leap of faith that has the potential to create a lasting impact on my life. I hope to join this adventure with you, to take this leap of faith and help each other grow the wings along the way down! -Milind

Hey Kay, my name's Fabian and I'm an Italian photographer & videographer. I don't even know where to start, but I will try keeping short on my story: when I was younger and still going to school, I struggled a lot at finding something that I really enjoyed. That burning passion for something that so many people around me had. The only thing I had was listening to music all day long, which was not really helpful for my introvert personality - but I didn't care then. Eventually I got into playing the guitar, and it was the first time that I could express myself - through art. A few years later I got my first camera, and I discovered the true passion for it and the beauty to express myself through this form of art. Oh I almost forgot: through my journey I got to know people like you (even just virtually), to whom i instantly connected. Since then I know exactly where I wanna go. I'm so grateful for everything I have learned till then and so thankful for people like you, inspiring and teaching me and so many people out there for everything that their heart & passion is burning for. Meeting you or even go on an adventure with you would be one of, if not THE biggest dream of mine. Exploring and traveling this beautiful place we call earth has always been my dream, together with someone I look up to the most. I honestly have quite a long list of destinations and countries I always wanted to travel to. But I would love to go either to New Zealand or Japan next. Thank you for offering this incredible once in a lifetime chance for us and for being such an incredible human being 🙏 No matter who you choose, meeting you will always be one of my biggest dreams! Good luck everyone.

Howdy Justkay. I'm yayo and I'm Mexican. I'm a Software Engineer, photographer and I want to be a Fillmaker. I met your videos while I was struggling with discovering what potential I have. At that time I was doing my Intership in Pakistan. I visited Kashmir, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Without planning too much I ended up spending 5 days visiting Egypt with my rommie and on my way back to Mexico I visited London for one night. In 3 months due to a crazy idea of going on exchange without knowing how I would pay for the whole trip my life has changed and the feeling of what else I can achieve has become a priority. I'm not lying to you that I'm afraid of losing that feeling now that I'm back, but I'm constantly looking for ways to not lose that focus and this would be very helpful.

Hi Kay, I am Vung from Vietnam 🇻🇳 and this is my story and why I want to visit Iran 🇮🇷. I grew up in a military family from Vietnam, listening to stories about the Vietnam War from my family and also have parents who work in the military. That means I could not travel abroad in anyway throughout my childhood due to my parents' travel restrictions working in the military, but that didn't stop me from finding a path for myself. I've always decided that when I grow up, I need to become the person I needed when I was younger. And this channel is one of the factors that helped shape who I am today. Traveling was and always is a luxury for me, so the only way I can travel is through working my way to a scholarship. I tried my best throughout 12 years of formal education so that I could get a full-ride scholarship to study for college in the US. To prepare for this big step and make this dream financially possible, I've tried every different career as a child - waitress, English language tutor, content creator, service worker, internships. This year, I'm also taking a gap year between my sophomore and junior year to earn more for my expenses going to college - volunteering at the United Nations, doing podcasts and TV show production in Vietnam. To a lot of traditional Vietnamese families, this is an unacceptable behavior by disrupting my study, but I trust my heart and worked hard this year, while also educating more myself about the world, through watching your channel, reading about different countries, especially Iran. Iran is one of the most sanctioned countries in the world, making it a hidden gem from most tourists. It is paradoxically one of the most unbelivable place with nature - Lut Desert, Damavand, Qeshm Island, Badab-e Surt are all wonders and some even UNESCO heritage sites. Culturally, Iran is going through a lot of changes, such as disagreements on a hijab mandate for girls. The country is undergoing through major changes that the eyes of the outsiders cannot see. As a curious person who also grew up with restrictions upon my shoulder that I couldn't really explain, I wish to see how people in Iran go by with their daily life, and to appreciate the natural gifts that Iran encloses from the world. I was mesmerized by your video "There is no perfect life" and have been supporting since then - your bravery, appreciation for life, and the way you capture the essence of what it feels to be alive keep me motivated on my journey. This content is atypical of what I would see from my country in Vietnam. I'm grateful for the hard work you put out on this platform for free so all of us could enjoy. Take care and thank you for helping me becoming the person I needed when I was younger. ٩(◕‿◕)۶ Sincerely, thank you so much.

hey Vung.I just stumbled upon your comment and at fisrt I was surprised that Iran (my country) is your first choice. Not a lot of people know about the beautiful nature it has and as you said it really is a hidden gem. I am glad you are interested in visiting and know that you will feel welcomed right away in any time (even if it is during the revolution that is happening now, people are still very welcoming).Hopefully you get to go there one day and see all its beauty. Funny enough, Vietnam is on the top of my bucket list as well. it only took a few photos for me to fall in love with landscapes and beautiful nature. Also I know that it has ancient histroy and a rich culture. I recently learned that Vietnam is the second oldest country in the world after Iran so this explains alot. Best of luck to you :)

Hey, I'm Dhaval and I'm from INDIA. Currently I'm 18 years old, and just about to complete my high school. But I'm also a film maker, okay not exactly a film maker will justify what i do. I'm actually learning film making, and in this process i earned an international award in film making and a national one. Hailing from not so fulfilling family, I actually still don't have a lot of gears, not even a basic camera, I usually shoot with my phone. Also, i want to join you for this trip, because first of all, being fan of yours, the camera angles, shots, editing, grading and colour correction. There will be a lot of things to learn from you. Learning from someone like you, is like a guidance to success from an elder brother. Also, the narration you do, the emotion it shares is brilliant. And to be honest, I'm also an adventures person like you. It will be fun catching up, exchanging ideas and learning from each other. I look forward to your response. Lots of love from INDIA (one con. you might consider and may not take me for this trip be that I'm vegetarian) I hope it's not a deal breaker for us.

Dear wanderer of the world @JustKay, As a recent graduate, I've already taken a leap of faith and dived deep into the world of videography. But as much as I've enjoyed filming the weddings that have come my way, my heart and soul crave something greater - the challenge of uncharted territory, the thrill of capturing the untamed beauty that lies beyond our familiar horizons. For me, the ultimate adventure isn't just about visiting any place - it's about exploring those that defy expectations, that evokes a sense of awe and wonder. I'm drawn to the landscapes that feel otherworldly, like a dreamscape of vibrant colors and surreal shapes. Places like Namibia, where the red dunes stretch for miles and the night sky is an ocean of stars. Or Ethiopia, where the Danakil Depression holds the surreal spectacle of boiling lava lakes and rainbow-colored sulphur springs. Or Madagascar, where the bizarre baobab trees tower over a landscape that seems frozen in time. Or Argentina, where the Iguazu Falls crash down in a spray of rainbows, or Peru, where the rugged terrain of the Andes Mountains is home to some of the world's most iconic archaeological sites. Or Nicaragua, where volcanoes rise from the earth, framed by shimmering lakes. But it's not just about the destination - it's about the journey. I crave an adventure that will challenge me, that will push me to the brink of my limits and beyond. I want to explore the corners of the world that few have dared to tread, to capture the raw and unfiltered essence of each place in a way that only a true seeker of wonder can. With my skills, my gear, and my unbridled passion, I'm ready to answer the call of adventure and chase down every incredible moment that lies ahead. So here I stand, eager and ready to join you on your next journey, to explore, to create, and to inspire. Take me with you, and together we'll discover the beauty that lies just beyond the edge of the map

Hey, I'm a freshman student at computer science. As a getaway from computing I go outdoors. Started my passion 5 years ago with climbing and mountain hiking. Ever since I'm in search for adventures and a year ago I also began caving and skiing which has been a blast. But as a brother to seven siblings we never really traveled outside our home country, because it is simply too expensive for a family of that size. I was supposed to go around Europe in the 2020 but we all know what happened. So as a person who loves outdoors one of my dream destinations is Iceland's breathtaking nature under northern lights. I found you on just today watching random filmmakers and I have to say that you really do know how to make nature look as good as it is. Wish you all the best in your future adventures!

My name is Raphaël, I'm soon 22 years old and in my 4th year of medical school in Belgium. What stuck with me from this video was your mentality of making the most of our lives on this world by exploring it and eventually die knowing we lived our best life, I have this same mentality. This is also the reason why often doubt my studies, I honestly think I will finish them but I already know right now that I don't want to live the stereotypical "work first" life that usually comes after that. (wave) Surfing is my passion and all of my travels had been centered around that but recently I fell in love with photo- and videography myself and as a result have begun to also love long hikes into the mountains. You have been an inspiration to me to continue to try to create better videos and color grading maybe you have already seen a few comments from me ;) I recently started uploading on KZfaq and mainly Instagram but compared to your videos they still are quite "shit" haha (but I'm striving to get better!). I'm very interested in the world, how everything works (from nature to man made stuff) or how we live our entire lives on a little blue ball inside an enormous universe, ... I love (most) animals a lot (fuck mosquitos). I could say a lot more things but I won't make this comment too long;). I would love to explore the whole world more, every aspect of it so for me it doesn't really matter where the journey would be, ice cold, scorching hot or sky high on a volcano doesn't matter bring it on! You can check out my instagram: @gyselraphael or @by_raph_ to get an impression of me or ask some questions if you want, you're welcome to drop a follow or a sub in the meantime as well of course ;p

I am a new subscriber to your channel, JustKay, and I must say, your videos have left a lasting impact on me. As someone with a dream to travel to Japan and capture its cultural beauty through my camera lens, your content has inspired me to pursue my passion for travel videography. Even as someone who travels alone and can be shy watching your 2020 video 'Travel to Indonesia | Cinematic Video' amazed me with the amount of effort and skills you have. I have always wanted to create such cinematic videos, but I often felt discouraged and low-key in my abilities. But your channel has given me the motivation to learn and grow, and I am excited to continue pushing myself to create stunning travel videos that showcase the beauty of the world. While I may not have friends to travel with, I have learned that it is possible to capture the essence of a place even when alone. Your videos have taught me that the key is to have passion, dedication, and a willingness to learn. I must say, if I ever have the chance to travel with you, it would be an epic opportunity for me to learn from a true mentor. Watching your creativity in action and implementing it into my own videos would be an unforgettable experience. But even if we never get the chance to collaborate, I will continue to watch and learn from your videos, and I am excited to see where my journey in travel videography takes me. Thank you for being a role model and for inspiring me to pursue my passion. Your impact on my life has been immense, and I hope to one day i am able to create videos that inspire others just as you have inspired me. Remember, no dream is too big to pursue, and no challenge is too great to overcome. Keep pushing forward, and one day, you too can achieve greatness. Believe in yourself, and the world will open up to you. Sorry, for the too-long comment You sparked something inside me and made me want to spell everything😅 Here is one of my travel videos which is not great compared to yours. Hey Kay, My name is Sid. Love from India 🇮🇳. I am into adventure travel and filmmaking. I do this as a side hustle along with my 9-5 job since a lot of family responsibilty and education loans on me. As soon as i saw this video uploaded, i watched it with passion, took my notebook out and started noting down my reasons! As a fellow world traveller and filmmaker, I've been captivated by your work and your passion for storytelling through film. Your ability to capture the essence of a place and its people has been an inspiration to me, and I share your belief in the power of travel to transform our lives. Like you, I've also made the choice to escape the rat race of a corporate job and live life on my own terms. Through my travels, I've discovered the beauty of exploring the world in a meaningful and beautiful way, and I've been inspired to capture my journeys through film. I would be honored to have the opportunity to travel with you and learn from your experiences. Any trip that you organize would be a dream come true for me and a big learning curve in my travel filmmaking career. It would also be a possible escape strategy from my 9-5 job here in India, and a chance to follow my passions and create meaningful content that inspires others to explore the world. Thank you for your dedication to your craft and your commitment to telling powerful stories. I hope to have the opportunity to join you on a journey soon. Hey man! My name is William and from Montreal, Canada. I've always dreamed of travelling and adventuring but I've had a hard time taking the leap due to my contradicting goals. A part of me wants to become a millionaire entrepreneur, but another part of me wants to go on wild adventures and explore. As I am nearing the end of my College (Cegep) life in Canada, I must now choose the next steps I want to take, and tbh.. I have very little clue. Embarking on this trip (to literally anywhere) would bring me new insight on what I want from life and the alternative career paths I could take moving forward. I am not afraid of any physical challenges. I love hiking, camping, biking, running, and weight lifting, so you can count on me to match your pace! Thank you so much for the perspectives and experiences you share from around the world. You are a great source of motivation behind my willingness to explore the unknown. Dear Kay, I just randomly stumbled across your video and it's everything - watching this might have just snapped me out of a long dark place I've been in and your style of cinematic storytelling feels like home to me. It's like finding a tribe in a stranger without even having planned to do so. I feel storytelling is that earthy raw essence that can really connect human beings on a primal level. It's magic being shared. Thank you Kay for sharing this. I know I want to see so many places in the world and for the longest time I only thought of fiction storytelling, but recently I feel a deeper calling towards finding, exploring and sharing the stories that are all around us. Those magic moments that are in plain sight and that are just as , if not even more cinematic and magical then any script could ever be. Life itself is pure magic. Again, Danke Kay. Watching this meant more to me than I think I can fathom at this moment.

What an amazing edit, accompanied with an amazing opportunity. So grateful you're doing this for a lucky fan of the channel. I'm 21, living in Australia. After just returning from a semester exchange in Spain, I realised just how amazing travel is. I have now hit a transitional point in my life where I no longer wish to continue studying but make the most of these upcoming years by travelling. Your story is such an inspiring one for me to hear at this time. I completed my first volunteer film and photography project in the Wadi Rum desert of Jordan and am hooked. Hello Kay 😊! Thank you very much for creating a sense of escape and discovery through your videos. Your images are just like a (cinematic) message in a bottle you share across the world ; and for that I thank you and support your purpose in every possible ways. Little did I know, my passion for travelling around the globe and meeting different cultures unconsciously defines the path I am walking on. I grew up in Asia, far away from my home country, France. I dived into videography as it was my first way to create memories, share stories and express emotions without words needed. The beauty of this world says it all. For the last 4 years, I undertook perfumery studies, in the hope to embellish the world surrounding us throughout my creations. Videography plays a huge role in this part of inspiration and this link between videos and travels seems to call me again. These past two years, I decided to hear my most cherished wish : to capture the raw and unfiltered essence of each places that this world allows us to discover. As much as videography creates thrills and vibes of amazement and adrenaline, I’m looking to create fragrances with a videographer lens in order to capture all of its beauty and share it to the rest of the world. As Asia enriched me with beautiful experiences and defined me as a kid, it also gave me the thrill to discover more and explore beyond the frontiers. I would be so keen to share a such experience with you, to be amazed by new cultures, new landscapes and new colors. The contrasted Latin American panorama or the Egyptian and Oman mysterious stories arouses my curiosity. Looking forward to explore the world and feel the energy in your next adventures. Thank you again for all your beautiful work !! It will be such an honour to be part of your story as well to take you in mine through my fragrance creations. Laurine 🥰

Hey Kay, Thanks for the opportunity! You don’t have no idea how much you have inspired me. Your visuals and colour grading are totally insane! As a 21-year-old filmmaker from southern India, I've always wanted to pursue a career in movies or something creative. But my family wasn't that supportive.I managed to buy a camera and began creating content for ad films and weddings to make ends meet. Recently, I had the chance to work as a content creator for the first surfing organization in India, I was super excited because it was my first gig as a creator and I could learn surfing too! But on the 5th day, our boat capsized and I lost my camera. Despite this setback, I continued to create content with my phone and had some amazing experiences meeting new people and hearing their stories. One thing that's at the top of my bucket list is to witness and experience snow, which only occurs in the northern region of India. I'm particularly interested in visiting the Kashmir region, where there's an extreme trek that I'd love to attempt. Some people say it's more beautiful than Switzerland, but I can't really judge since I've never been to either. I honestly believe that it is the journey that matters more than destination. I also hope to travel to the Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia, It looks like nature's own mirror and kinda reminds me of a snowy terrain. I'm all about pushing myself out of my comfort zone and into some wild adventures, so this trip would be the ultimate experience! While I may not have the proper equipment to shoot at the moment, I can create with what I got. I believe that this would be a great opportunity to learn from you and hear your stories. I love putting myself in challenging situations, and I feel the same way about you. Whether or not I'm selected for this trip, I'm grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to see what you create with whoever is chosen. And if you ever visit India, I'd love to meet and learn from you! Cheers.

Firstly, let me say that I am a huge fan of your channel and your positive energy never fails to inspire me. Your unique way of telling stories through your filmmaking is truly amazing and I am always left in awe after watching your videos. I have always been passionate about traveling and discovering new cultures, and like you, I believe it opens our eyes and hearts to new things. Through my own travels, I have learned so much about the world and myself, and I am grateful for every opportunity to experience something new. Winning a trip with you and your talented friends would be an absolute dream come true for me. I can't imagine a better way to see the world than through your eyes and your lens. Whether we end up exploring the colorful streets of Morocco or the serene landscapes of New Zealand, I know it will be an adventure of a lifetime. Thank you for the opportunity and keep up the amazing work!

Hi Kay! I've been following your work since the very beginning and I dont have enough words to express how much your videos have inspired me and I am sure others aswell. I feel fortunate enough to have been able to travel the world. During these travels, I have always met truly amazing local people, people with a desire an ambition to explore the world, but unfortunately, mainly due to economical reasons in many occasions, they havent been able to go abroad. Many times not even out of their local area. However, they are passionate about what they do and they dream with the idea of maybe in the future be able to explore. Although I would love to travel with you one day, I think there is a lot of people that will benefit more than me with this opportunity. So please, choose one of this people that due to economical reasons they are not able to experience what travelling is. That would be a good story to share and I am sure you know what I am talking about after travelling the world.!! Thank you man!

Hey Kay, thanks for sharing your story - it touched me deeply! I'm a 17 y.o. filmmaker and composer. I just dropped out of high school to live my dream - travel the world. The school was safer, but I couldn't wait any longer. I have no idea what happens tomorrow, but there is true life in that uncertainty. I decided to leave my country at the end of March. The first stop will be in Costa Rica - a country with the most beautiful nature and the happiest population in the world. I spent most of my life locked at home, disconnected from nature. No wonder I was drowning in depression. Coming back to nature gave me immense mental clarity and helped me realize the simplicity of life. And I think it is super important to inspire people to start connecting with nature again - mainly in this day and age full of anxiety. I was determined to make this trip happen, but I had no idea how... Until I clicked on this video :) But there are perhaps people who need this oppurtunity even more than me. So, I'm sure you will choose the best participant :) Either way, I would love to join you on an adventure someday. I feel that community is the only way to change the world, and I would be honored to be part of the community you've created :) Thanks, and Pura Vida :)

Dear Kay, Hey Kay I was planning to take the same leap of faith as you did and travel the world on my own in 2020. I saved up for the travel and the gear and was ready to go in march 2020. Then Corona happened and I was stuck, just like you, I figure, in my home. So instead, I started my media studies, for the last 3 years I have been working hard on this and now I’m in the last year of my studies. Almost ready to try it again and to take that leap of faith, however, this time with more knowledge and confidence than before. Ready to discover the world. I hope I can learn and get inspired even more from your experiences and maybe this adventure. So I can adapt them in my filmmaking and fulfil this dream of mine. I would love to go to Malaysia this was the country i was supposed to visit first in 2020. I love their culture however especially the nature and landscapes there are just breathtaking. Kind Regards, Marijn van Oirschot

Kay! First just want to say your cinematography and editing is incredible. I'm in awe of the skill you have. It's so cool to see someone living out their dreams, doing it so well, and sharing it with the world. I recently traveled abroad for the first time and it was such an incredible experience. I want to do it more so badly! I love the variety of people, places, and things that the world has to offer, and hope to see as many of them as possible. I'm currently 25 and in a phase in my life where I haven't found my calling. I have found travel, both big and small, to be a huge tool to learn more about myself and the world. I crave more adventure, and learning about more about videography and editing would be fantastic! Traveling with someone experienced and I daresay professional like yourself, is truly the opportunity of a lifetime. It's so cool of you to be sharing the opportunity for this. As far as what I offer as a travel companion, I'm go with the flow, relaxed, low maintenance, and self sufficient. I'm intelligent and open, quick witted and a great improviser. I'm well versed and fixing things and would be an invaluable asset in the case we get stranded on a desert island 😂. Wish for the best for you on all your future adventures. As far as where I'd want to go, so many places call my name. Iceland, the Galapagos, Madagascar, Scandinavia, Japan are a few I can think of off the top of my head. Ellron, 25 USA

Hi Kay, I am Khalikh, and I call myself a Grizzly and hence the channel name Grizzly Wanders. I followed my passion to become an Animator and I became one. But I was unaware that there is more to life than just making a career. I realized that although I was satisfied with what I was doing, my whole perspective changed when I decided to go on a trek on my birthday in 2019. That one trip of walking in the mountains for 4 straight days, walking on the grasslands, crossing the river streams, drinking the cleanest waters from the mountains, and going through dense forests and frozen ice reminded me that this world that we live in is meant to be seen and experienced. I decided to make a short KZfaq video about it but then I made a teaser and then completely abandoned my channel right after that. I've been trying to get back to it but the fear of being judged and the anxiety that comes with it has stopped me from finishing it. I have a story to tell but I've been trying to figure out how to tell that story. I know for sure that I will make it somehow no matter what. But this video of yours just gave me hope that I could learn from you with this one trip of yours. It's important for me to get through these fears and share my story with the world so people with similar minds realize what I strongly believe in "This beautiful world is meant to be seen". I hope people realize that we need to stop living our lives in a rush and just halt for a moment and look at the beauty around us. I call this dream of mine "AWAY FROM THE RUSH". We live in a world that promotes the woke culture and makes us feel that it's all about the hustle and dedicating your life to achieve a career that you always wanted. While these may give a positive outcome to some but there are negative aspects as well. This kind of mindset makes us forget about all the things around us. I feel that career is not life, we tend to make it our life and then regret it when it's too late. I would like to quote a few lines from the novel and movie "The Secret life of Walter Mitty" and it goes "To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life" - James Thurber To travel the world and go beyond your comfort and reach for experiences that many have not even thought of, to say yes to new experiences and to explore more, to embrace all these new experiences and to observe it, to find new relationships with other fellow human beings, and to feel all the experiences in your life is the purpose of life. I am not sure about me getting selected for your trip. But I've poured my heart out on this comment. Even if one person reads this and realizes about life, I feel I've done something right in mine. If I did get selected for your trip, I would go anywhere with nature and specifically mountains as that is where my perspective of life changed and I found my own meaning of life. Thank you for sharing your story and inspiring me to tell mine. Hoping to see you someday down the line. With love, Grizz

Hey Kay, you are criminally underrated, your films/videos and creative vision, along with your dreams and passion for travelling the world really inspire me. It is also my dream to make a living out of traveling the world with friends. I'm a freshman in university in southern California, I've been here most of my life. With no direction for a future in high school, a family trip to Iceland really opened the limitless possibilities and adventures the world holds. Recently, it seems like my passion to make my dreams a reality is overflowing and I'm itching to travel even though it is out of my comfort zone. My dream destination would be Thailand, New Zealand, or really anywhere around the world. Continue to make amazing films and I can't wait to see where your journey takes you, much love. -Aidan

Hey Kay, probably quite hard to put into words what your videos have meant for my journey these past couple of years but something in my changed and ignited the light back everytime I saw your art. You are a true ARTIST, the definition of courage that even though it sounds so good it is still so hard to take the leap. What really hit home for me was your recent video about Venezuela, my home country, which I left when I was 5 years old and I never been able to come back, to visit my family and reconnect with my roots. I cried so much with your video because I have always been 'ashamed' and confused because the country where I was from was always problematic and no one wants to go there, that paired with my parents experiences and traumas from living there. It has always been like, where am I from then? but you really showed me that it is possible to come back. I don't mind the prize but thought that since you are reading all comments this would be a great opportunity to thank you for being open minded and showing the beauty of every corner of the world, and for reminding me that I come from one of the most amazing places in the world. I wish you the best Kay :)

Kay, your videos have gotten me through some rough patches when I've forgotten the immensity and power of the natural world and all the magic it has to offer. I honestly can not tell you how many times I have watched them on repeat as a reminder of what is possible and what I am fighting for in my everyday. I have always felt a strong pull to venture outside of a comfort zone and into untouched places and learn more about different cultures and ways of living in this world and draw upon what I, and we as a society can learn from these experiences and places. I work within the field of health and reconnecting people back to nature as that has what has always healed me so my adventures are always geared towards that aspect. I am open to go anywhere and everywhere currently. I am australian and a UK citizen and am ready to go anywhere that involves mountains and oceans

Hey Kay, First off I want to say thank you for yet another cinematic masterpiece. I can't think of anyone more talented that can show the beauty of this great planet like you. My name is Yanni and I'm a 20 year old filmmaker based out of Chicago, IL. My dream is to become a freelance travel cinematographer who can help share stories from around the world. But I'll be honest... the support I have now was not always there. After finishing high school, I thought I was set on following the pre-med track. My parents saw this as a valuable opportunity and a perfect path that could lead to a very successful and purpose driven career, however, I wasn't so certain. I began creating videos and short films not because I was assigned to, but because I actually wanted to. I felt happy when I created and the feeling of evoking emotion from my audience was something that I had never experienced before. When it came time to tell my parents though, it became almost impossible; I was afraid of what they would think. When I told them, I was faced with the seven following words: "just also do business as a backup." I felt broken and as though I had failed without even trying. The pain hurt, yet nothing would compare to the amount I would soon feel just 6 months later. In October of 2021, my hero, my father passed away. As I stood by his side on one of his last days, I couldn't help but feel numb. Near the end of the night, my father sat up from the hospital bed and mustered the last few breaths he had left in his lungs to use them to tell me to do what makes me happy. That moment has stayed with me ever since and now I know my purpose in creating. In offering this incredible and once in a lifetime opportunity, I just want to say thank you Kay. You have no idea how much I appreciate just even being considered to enter this giveaway. If chosen, my dream would be to travel to the Faroe Islands as that was the one place was father always dreamed of going to. To climb the mountains and experience the true nature and beauty of this amazing world would be the greatest gift I could ask for. And to travel with one of the greatest creatives working now would be a dream come true. Thank you for your consideration. Yanni E (20, Chicago)

(Hey Kay 👋) Just a little reminder to anyone who has dreams: Chasing his dreams isn't an easy quest. If dreams are dreams it's because they are difficult to achieve and ask for a long and sinuous way to be reached. Unfortunately, I think most of the people consider this way as too hard and think they're not able to make it. But this limiting belief is actually the main reason why people doesn't manage to reach their dreams, above the pathway itself. The first and most important step is to dare. To try. Yeah, you're gonna fail. Several times. But stay persistant, keep trying, keep experimenting, and you're gonna make it. If you never try, you'll never even have the opportunity to make it. Considering this, I started to chase my dreams 1 year ago. I quit my well paid chemical engineer job to start working by my own as a freelance filmmaker. And now, at 23 yo, I've never been so close to the life I always dreamed to live. I trust the process, and we'll see what's next. (Btw I would love to go to Sri Lanka or Philippines, but actually every place in this world is ok for me) + I'm french 👋

Hi Kay, firstly I have to say that your story is truly inspirational and motivating. Leaving things behind and letting go of a comfortable life is quite a hard thing to do. Thank you for the gift of your videos to the world. I am from Goa. Traveling and experiencing the place through the food, history and culture of the people there is my drug. There’s nothing more enthralling and satiating than that. Sometimes I feel like every decision I made in my life about type of work and location has been because I want to explore more of the place and surrounding regions. First it was Mozambique and then the Middle East. With the money I saved up in the Middle East, I was able to fuel my thirst for travel. I especially love long holidays where I try to explore the place at a slow pace. I have walked 4 different Camino de Santiago just so that I can experience different regions of Spain and I think I will continue doing this until I finish them all. My dad was an avid traveler in his younger days and listening to his stories and reading his collection of National Geographic and travel magazines has made me want to explore first hand the world around me and connect with the soul of the place. His travel ‘genes’ have transferred into me. I know that it’s impossible to truly travel and experience every corner of this beautiful planet but travel we must. The region I want to travel to is that of the Amazon and Andes highlands to experience primitive cultures before they are lost to modernity. For that matter any part of the world with a primitive group of peoples is fascinating to me. Traveling along the paths of the old world travelers like Ibn Battuta, Marco Polo, Ptolemy and Homer, the great emperors of ancient times, missionaries and the explorers of the Age of Discovery are all epic journeys too. Good luck on your next adventure, Kay.

Lots of great answers so far. Thanks for doing this Kay! I grew up in the suburbs of Texas and have seen a handful of states here in the US. I studied music in college and now I live in Los Angeles where I’m trying to break in to the film music industry. It’s been a humbling journey so far, but I haven’t had much opportunity to travel internationally. I would really love to visit Bali or any place in Southeast Asia. The scenery looks immaculate and the rich culture and history of Buddhism and mindfulness are meaningful ideas I’d want to explore there. Life in the city gets really hectic really fast, so I think some time away to relax and reflect would be incredibly healthy for me.

Hello Kay! Greetings from Indonesia! 🇲🇨 Hope this writing finds you in a good health wherever you are. Let me start this by introducing myself first. My name is Faliq, originally from the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta. I don't have any idea what I am going to write in this comment section but I'll try my best. I am one of the government officer in Indonesia. Without any further explanation, I guess you have already known how my life is going. Most of my time, day by day from Monday to Friday, from 9-5, I dedicate myself in the office, doing (almost) the same thing. Specifically, I am a legal drafter, trapped and jailed in the same chair and desk facing all the square thing, like laptop, handphone, etc. Soo boring. Even I said boring in the last paragraph, however I do really enjoy with what I'm doing right now, since this is the job I've been dreaming since high school. Lucky me, what I'm drafting is MoU written in English, so start from that, I could gain knowledge in learning English much better than before. Hence, as my daily basis I often use English, step by step I gain my confidence to speak and use English more and more, and of course practicing with native speaker. On 2019, I challenge my self to go abroad and test my English capability. I took a loooong day off approximately 1 month to travel on a road trip start from Singapore to Viet Nam. Can you imagine for the first timer to experience that loooong journey? It was mixed feeling between happy, excited, anxious, and etc. Without any unpleasant moment, I successfully completed that long journey. I bring home soo many lifetime memories such as stay on stranger apartment, taste new food I've never felt before, go through the border from one country to another, and soooo many memories I couldn't mention it one by one. After 4 years I didn't go anywhere caused by the pandemic and also tight schedule of my working, my desire to take a loooong day out of my office is suddenly appear again right in my deepest heart. As I remember my journey back 4 years ago, I do really want to have an unforgettable journey wherever this feet gonna take me. One place I would love to go and feel the ambience is Scandinavian Country. I don't know why I mention that region as my travel destination list, but as you might have already known that my country, Indonesia, belongs to developing country. Therefore, I am curious to feel how to live and mingle with local people and environment in developed country specifically in Europe continent. If my dream comes true, that will be my first time to go outside of Asia 🥺 Until now, I don't have any idea how to live and survive there. But, I do believe in human's instinct, we will try our best to find the way to survive in whatever circumstances we're facing. Regards, Faliq 😉

You're such an inspiration dude, everytime I watch your videos I'm amazed on every single aspect, from colour grading to sound design and specially imagery. As a young creator, I've quickly developed a special taste for photography these few years. I can spend hours editing and not feeling the pass of time. You have always been someone I look up to in both aspects photography and videography. I value the creators that can really make me feel inspired. Before entering university, I would love to take some time to travel the world and capture the beauty of nature through photography. I believe that this experience will be life-changing and invaluable. Traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures can broaden my perspective and give me new insights into the world around me. Additionally, photography is a passion of mine and a powerful tool to express myself. With photography I've learnt that being surrounded by 4 walls is not my way of learning. It's quite amazing how you make everything look amazing, and embrace the beauty of every single place you visit. The one that caught me the most was your video travelling around Mexico, you showed me places of my country that I did not even knew 😅. This motivated me to travel around Mexico and take advantage of all these amazing places we have here. As somoene who lives on a small town, visiting places like such, is what I'm looking forward the most. Mountains have always been a big source of inspiration for me, and one dream place I'd like to visit are the Dolomites.

Hey Kay, First of all, thank you for this amazing opportunity! My name is Stefan and I'm an 18-year-old student from Germany. My biggest goal right now is to travel the world after graduating and grow as a person. I'm also passionate about filmmaking, as I've been doing it since I was a little child. I would love to one day combine those passions to become a travel filmmaker and inspire other people to chase their dreams. As I'm currently a student, I've never been outside of Europe, but I truly believe that traveling with you could be the best way to push me out of my comfort zone and learn more about myself. My dream destinations are South Africa, Africa as a whole, and Indonesia. Best regards from Germany, Stefan

You inspire me! You inspire me so much that I'm actually planning to go on a trip around the world after I finish my bachelor's degree in July, where I want to pursue my hobby of filming and get closer to my goals. I'm studying computer science but for a long time photography and producing videos and content is a big hobby of mine. Unfortunately, I have never dared to live this hobby to the fullest and make the best of it. Programming is fun for me, but the feeling of having your own adventure and filming it is beyond any job I can imagine. I love to travel. After school I traveled in a van for 3 months from Canada to America and Mexico. Unfortunately, I did not document this trip on video. I would like to change that. I want to inspire others to get out of their comfort zone and do things they've always wanted to do. I would love to be able to join you on your adventure. Even if I don't win this trip, I hope that one day I can have adventures with you or other cool people that share this passion, have the same goals and want to inspire others. Besides, I would like to say a few words about me, so that you can better consider me in your selection. I am Jannik, 22 years old and I am from Germany. Besides photography and videography I love to do sports and go outside. Another big hobby of mine is snowboarding, which would also have great potential for a cool video and also this would be the destination i would choose (Canada or Japan). Unfortunately im injured right now and i would have to wait until june so that i can board again. Thats why my choice would be Hawaii as I have never been there before and I love the landscapes from what I saw in videos. I also surfed a few times before and want improve in this area. Feel free to check out my Instagram to get an insight: instagram.com/jannik.wieland/

Hey Kay, Love the inspiration you bring into the world for filmmakers like me. I believe that story is everything. and that story matters because life is not about the destination. The more you can make sense of your walking, what’s around you, who matters to you, and what to give your life to, the more you understand yourself and why you exist. The destination, the answers, the growth that were told to do by the world lures us in with minute by minute offers nothing more than an aimless story offering a nihilistic arrival... ...if you ever really do arrive. I believe that capturing our lives with film helps us stop the chase. To finally see that our story is already playing out around us. All we need to do is look. Cheers man.

Keep up the incredible work - it gives me chills to watch your work! 💥

Thank you very much for all you do, Kay. I've been watching your videos for a while, and they played a part in me changing my degree to what I love. I want to see the world. I haven't stepped foot outside my hometown in a long, long time. I want to let the air of new places fill my lungs up. I want to feel the charm of talking to new people, people with lives vastly different from mine, but the drive all the same. It's been so long since I've felt not trapped, and free. Thank you for your work. They show me a world I wish to travel to. And, one day I will. I don't want to be just a human being; I want to be a human seeing, a human doing. I see so many comments here from people who share the same emotions as mine. I hope I run into all of you someday, and we can put down our weights at the table and share a coffee. Until then, I wish you all luck!

Good Day/Afternoon/Evening Kay Hearing your age and travels just changed my perspective that it is possible to travel around the world with the minimum. I'm turning 22 this year and am still living in South Africa with the dream of going to Iceland. This idea popped into my head when we hit hard lockdown in 2020 with all the isolation, and it never faded away afterwards. I manufacture jewellery for a living but there is still a part of me that wants to do something else, somewhere else [Always spending my free time with something film production related]. Here in 2023 I thought the year is going to be great but ended up be enthralling, putting me through more growth with the knee operation I had to go through in February. With every challenge I find growth, and what my limits are, as time moves on. Also a nova thank you for putting out these inspiring videos which puts me in the mood wanting to create more films. Hey Buddy thanks for being my window to the world. It's needless to say I love your work and thanks to you I could see places I might not have seen in wildest of my dreams. There is a nomad in each one of us, you have found yours and following him to the edge of the world and in doing so you introduced us to the dormant nomad within and it's cravings for the wanderlust. I don't know how much I will be able to actually travel in this lifetime but I am sure I will get to see whatever is there through your lens and vision. Having said all of this it would be lifetime opportunity to travel with you and honestly it doesn't matter where.. be it temples combodia, jungles of amazon, heavens of Mt. everest or just my backyard Lots of love from India..

I also do travel videos, Extreme challenges like going to the last island of the Philippines, Traveling hours by the boat, Exploring the unexplored portions of my country etc. I do videos not because of the money. But because of the natural dophamine and show people how beautiful our world is. I'm doing videos to let the audience experience the thing or the place they are dreaming to travel to. I want to show the people the places they love to visit but lack of time to travel to. If you gave me an opportunity to come with you, Let's go to burundi! I'm 40 years old, got 3 young kids, no partner, running my own branding agency in Switzerland. The last few years have burnt me and last summer I decided, my life needs a change. I'm going back to what originally inspired me: music, video, photography, sound-design but most of all spirituality. Connecting with nature and with people. Learning to love myself. And on this journey I've decided to start creating again. Today YT decided to recommend one of your videos (Sahara train) and I immediately got drawn in. Not just by your cinematic visuals, but the actual essence of your experience. I feel like your are authentically transporting a positive message and using your skills to enhance this message. That's what I want to do. Just in case you're considering me: I can maybe do max. 10 days travel, since my youngest is 2 years old. ;)

Hi Kay, First of all, I want to thank you for being this huge inspiration for me. Every time I notice I am doubting myself and struggle with figuring out if its still all worth it, I watch one of your videos and immediately feel inspired and ready to explore the world further with my camera. I have been doing cinematography since two years and learned mostly by dissecting your videos, and trying to understand how you filmed certain shots. A little about me, I am a 22 year old from the Netherlands who decided to do things a little different in life instead of trying to live a certain life thats expected from me in society. I love spontaneous adventures, to explore, be active and feel alive. With my work I hope to inspire others to also see what beauty the world has to offer and see the raw nature and culture that exists in this world. In the future I would like to bring awareness to the challenges that our world brings like global warming, exploitation of nature and children. I believe that images are more powerful than anything in the world and I therefor want to capture this in order to show people the beauty and the pain of this world we live in. To inspire, to do good, and to live life to the fullest. For a new adventure in the future I would love to explore somewhere remote in Africa, The Middle East, or Papua New Guinea. Somewhere where you can capture RAW life & surroundings and experience all that country has to offer !! Love, Fleur

When traveling to new areas and also my home country, Switzerland, there are so many stories and wonderful landscapes. That's why I bought a drone several years ago. At that time I came across your videos, tried to grade like you. Later I got your luts and learned many things through your channel. For me you are the inspiration for so many videos I made. In this quality and such a good storytelling I haven't seen from anyone before. Keep up the good work, with your talent you can go so far. Thank's a lot.

What's up man! I've been following your journey for the last few years and it's been truly inspiring to me. Im a 22 year old filmmaker from Mexico, picked up a camera for the first time when I was about 16, learned from youtube and so my own journey started. I somehow managed to also start traveling creating content and videos, but the problem was that I found myself doing jobs I wasn't really passionate about most of the time. Filmed a lot of wedding videos, commercials, etc. and I stopped working on my own personal projects which was the reason I started filmmaking in the first place. That led me to a path of procrastination and I eventually stopped pursuing that dream. I wanted a change in my life this year so I enrolled in a film school hoping that I would learn something new and get back on track, only to find out after this year that this is definitely not the place I want to be for me. Watching your video reminded me of that dream I had when I first picked up a camera, and I would love to have the opportunity to travel with you and create something meaningful. I remember one of the first places I wanted to travel to when starting out was Bali, still haven't gotten the chance to go but I know somehow I'll make it there one day and fulfill that dream. Much love to you and everyone reading this, never give up on that dream of yours

Whoever you choose for this trip it will be a great video and I can't wait to see it! Traveling around the world hasn't completely changed my life yet, but it is in the process of doing so. I studied physics and engineering sciences for a year and a half but just stopped, and listened to my inner child. I just took a competitive exam to enter an art and design school to become a game artist, enrolled in a filmmaking course and created my own photography and video business. I am extremely motivated and intend to give it my all to achieve my goals! I am currently planning a 1 month trip to Japan, and I'd like one day to go to Tibet and Mongolia! But I am open to any country, since traveling allows me to open up to new ways of thinking and step out of my comfort zone.

Kay, I'm watching this video on my birthday (February, 27th) and you already gave a gift through it. You made me remember why I love making videos. It's about moments, passion, dreams, goals, the feeling you can deliver through them, about creating something unique and memorable and sharing them with people to inspire to get inspired... even beyond. Today, I begin a new year in my life and the aim is the same in my filmmaking journey. I'm not a professional filmmaker.... even, I do not call myself a filmmaker, just a guy who bought a camera, a drone and started learning and experimenting on his own from scratch... the learning curve has been slow but I've truly enjoyed every single thing, video, frame I've created through those lenses (even if sucks). I start a new year really happy, excited and motivated to keep going through this journey, keep learning, failing, improving and discover what I'm able to achieve, create and share.... How exciting filmmaking is! Man, thanks for the reminder. Leo PD: If I had to go somewhere, I'd definitly choose my Mexico.

Waddup Kay! Im Markus, a 20yr old guy from a small town in Norway. I, aswell as everyone else has a story, and it probably isn’t that different from other people’s. I have lived in the same small town since I was born, I’ve seen the same landscape, the same people, and done the same things for 20yrs now. Unfortunately I haven’t got a lot of friends, and for those reasons I have the past few years wanted to see the world. Every. single. part of it. Every mountain, every culture, every person, and every animal. Where do I want to go? Anywhere, but I have always wanted to see Japan. The two reasons stopping me is money, and fear. I would love to join you on an adventure, and if I get the chance to do so, I would use the opportunity as a starting point for traveling all over the world, for the rest of my life. If you were to ask me “why pick you?”. Honestly, I don’t know. There are plenty of other people who deserve this opportunity just as much as me. Because I’m the end, we’re all equal, we’re all human.

Hi Kay, I want to thank you for being your authentic self and sharing your gift with the world. Your courage to face your fear and follow your heart inspires me to do the same and create my dream life. I found your channel from your cinematic video of Bali and have been following your journey since then. You have a gift of capturing the essence of life and what it means to be truly alive through your lens and your fascinating storytelling. Every time I watch your video, I can feel every cell in my body dance with excitement. It reminds me just how grateful I am to be given the miracle of life, and at the same time, it pushes me to believe I can follow my heart too. My name is Jasmin and I’m 33 years old living in Toronto, Canada. My travel journey started in 2017 when I decided to face my fear of travelling alone and embark on my first solo trip to Thailand. Funny how our mind works because as soon as I booked the flight, my mindset took a complete turn. I was no longer scared of the unknown. That first step gave me enough courage to realize I was ready to travel the world. It opened a new door of possibilities. It took me on a six-month journey to 16 countries and countless encounters with kind people and wonderful moments that opened my eyes and shaped who I am today. This year I set an intention of trying everything my heart desires. One of them is to start a travel vlog. I want to show the world how blessed we are to be able to call Earth our home. I want to inspire people to take care of this beautiful planet so mankind can continue to thrive in bountiful nature. I want to encourage people to practice kindness by showing how much good there are in the world. My dream adventure is to be in the presence of wildlife in its natural habitat in a place where nature is untouched. It would be a dream come true to witness the eerie quietness before a predator leaps for its prey, the vast landscape with only a piercing cry of an eagle, and a glimpse of Earth beaming with all sources of life. Lately I’ve also been having a yearning for going back to our roots and finding simple ways of living. Visiting a tribe and learning how they thrive through each day as they come together as a community to hunt and gather for their food would be an absolute treasure. I have a few places in mind where this dream can come true: Namibia, Kazakhstan, and Borneo. If we embark on this expedition together, I promise you I will bring an abundance of pure joy and open-mindedness as I submerge myself into every experience with childlike curiosity. I have endless travel stories to share and not to bribe you, but I can bring real maple syrup and ketchup flavoured Lays chips (only available in Canada). Regardless of who you choose, I’m sure it will be a life changing experience for anyone, and it fills me with love to see your desire to give back and share the magical wonders of life with your community. I hope to meet you in person through this incredible opportunity but if not, I hope our paths cross one day. Thank you for being you. Love, Jasmin (IG @jasminsymin)

Hey Kay, first of all, so nice and thoughtful of you to offer this one-time life opportunity. I'm Socra, 26 years and based in Canada and have been travelling since my 20s. I have been to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Pakistan, Oman, Borneo, Mauritius, etc. What passionate me the most is the amazing landscapes, unique experiences, beaches, hiking, natural wonders and drone videography. But what I love the most about travelling is approaching and learning new cultures and realizing that no matter where and how we grew up, no matter the social and political environment where we live in, no matter all the life experiences we encountered, at the end of the day we are all the same and we have been led to think the same and to feel the same feelings. So thank you for inspiring us to travel the world, and to open our eyes. I discovered you after your Mongolia adventure and have been following since and truly enjoying your work, and I have learnt so much from you already. Just understanding how to effectively use my drone gear, that you don't need to master difficult techniques, but that sometimes, just passing or flying over gives you the most powerful shots, while being the simplest. I would love going on an adventure with you and getting to know you better ! Depending on the season, we should have a wild adventure in Ethiopia, Madagascar, Kyrgyzstan or Laos But whoever you chose, have fun and a safe trip ! And you should definitely go to Gilgit Balistan ( Pakistna), you will love it so much.

Just saw this video on my main page and instantly felt a need of clicking on it. Currently I am kinda struggling with thoughts about where I belong in this world and if I am doing everything I can to get the most of my life. The answer is no. I want to travel more. Stop feeling kinda "stuck" in the life I am currently living. Watching these travel videos light up a spark in me - as cheezy as it sounds. So yeah, I feel kinda inspired but I dont know where to start yet. But what I already know is, that I need to start at least somewhere - even if its just a little trip to the mountains ( god damn, I love mountains). Keep up the great work. Those shots are absolutely stunning.

Hi Kay! I am Juan, originally from Argentina, lived in many places but now in Sydney, Australia given our shared passion, travel! I moved here in search of a better life that would allow me to build a better financial base that can sustain the life I want. Your content has been an inspiration to me, specially the story telling, which is in what I want to focus on this year. Telling stories in the most compelling and interesting way possible. I have made a living off photography and videography, but never monetized the travel aspect of it, which is in what I want to focus on from now on and it would be one hell of a kickstart to do a proper trip with you! And if I had to pick a place, (I don't really care, every place has great stories that need to be told) but I would probably pick somewhere in South East Asia, either Indonesia (not the mainstream bali, but a more remote island) or Papua New Guinea, which I believe have crazy interesting culltures with many stories to be told & breathtaking nature. Thanks for the opportunity Kay, keep sharing stories!

Hi Kia, I love what you have created here. I too have been inspired by travel and creativity nomadically spending years of my life alone and lost in countries far away from home. I came across this video at a pivotal period in my life. One of deep transformation, gratitude and awe. To be reminded of what is sacred about this life experience. What I love most about travel and film is the inspiration one can bring about through the mundane aspects that life has to offer- that simple is truly remarkable. That ordinary is to truly extraordinary. As a life long avid hiker, artist, surfer, traveller and yogi I aspire to inspire to go into the depths of the unknown and to share this gift with this world. I hope we can travel together and experience the beauty of life beyond our comfort zone. Motorbike throughout India, run barefoot on a volcanoe, catch waves in hawaii or sip wine and watch the sunset in siccily. Look forward to hearing more from you brother

A couple years ago i absolutely no idea about my direction with life, and i was pretty much completely lost. just hoping i would stumble upon something that would set me straight and tell me what to do. i was entirely addicted to social media and video games, foused on the material side of life and barely hung out with the friends i had at the time. Thankfully after some out of country trip i had with a special group of friends, i had a sharp change in direction and i realized what was important for me in life, to see and experience anything and everything. My father died when i was 2 years old, and i wish he would’ve been able to hear of my future plans to travel the world, and i hope that i can prove to him and to myself that i can achieve my dream. one of my bucket list destinations is iceland, being able to see the Northen lights, the freezing landscape and the exotic scenery would be a dream come true. Anyways, best of luck to you on your travels, love the videos, wish you a great life;)

It's really amazing how the Universe works. I'm about to turn 39 and - after having left a stable job in the Brazilian government to work as a therapist and try to help as many as I can - I was feeling that something was missing to bring more joy and the idea that life can be more to other people. Until I saw one of your videos. You are one of the guys who gave me another piece of the puzzle that is living. Now, I'm going back to study the filmmaking process (left school years ago). World needs this kind of hope and you are doing a great job. It would be an honor to be able to see the world through your eyes - and learn through your lenses. If it doesn't happen now, I'm sure we'll meet in the future. Keep bringing this level of reflection and inspiration to people. By the way, think about Amazon. Be able to show the mysteries and the preciousness of that magical place can be one in a lifetime experience. You and I and your friends would never be the same.

Hey Kay, Iceland has always been on my travel bucket list due to its awe-inspiring natural beauty, including stunning glaciers, waterfalls, and volcanoes. Its unique culture and exciting nightlife also make it a dream destination for me. The chance to travel with Kay, an inspiring figure, and learn from him would be an incredible opportunity.

First of all thank you for all the contents you give us. You have inspired many of the people not only to film but also to travel. You are one of the creator that has taught me many things esp in terms of colours and story telling, I'm a 27 years old freelancer filmmaker from India, esp for middle class Indians it's really difficult to travel as a content creator because freelancing jobs don't pay us much and more than whatever we earn goes in buying gears and we can hardly save for traveling, but I guess one day we just might, i don't know but It would be a massive honor to travel with you if I had a chance, the places I would like to visit are Japan, Indonesia and Nepal. THANKS KAY FOR TOUCHING LIVES. All the best to all the participants 🙏

Kay, You and a couple others I found on KZfaq helped me chase my goals. There are a lot of trials and tribulations. I expected them but not fully aware of how brutal life can hit. But by the grace of God I’m still preserving and soon, God willing I will also start to travel the world. First stop for me is El Salvador. Never stop boss! You are an inspiration to the world 🌎

Hey there, I really enjoy to watch your videos. I can explore all those diferent places without being there myself. I often feel like there is so much to see in this beautiful world that I will never be able to see everything in my life. But with your amazing videos I am able to have a closer look at countries and cultures I've never been to. I hope to see all those places myself one day but until then I dream about it with your travels in mind. I finished high school last year and since then I'm travelling around Europe with the possibilities I have. I am twenty years old and from the east part of Germany. 🌴😊 I hope to see more videos like those you already posted. It's always so nice to see them, especially now with grey winter weather here in my home country. 💙

Hey @just Kay, Just stumbles upon your channel and these is the first video I’ m watching , honestly, it’s magnificent. My name is Boluwatife, I live in Lagos, Nigeria. I dream of f traveling the world , cause life is beautiful and I want to experience it with people I love . I don’t have much to say , cause I feel like I haven’t done anything with my life, like I haven’t started living. Mostly because I don’t feel safe living my true self in my country , I’m hoping for the best for people like me , a place where we can smile , feel safe and share a part of our lives with the world and also because I’m a teenager and I know I still have time to get myself together and experience the wonders of the world . Life is really precious, thank you for reminding me .

This is so awesome what your doing, and how your sharing your travels . Thanks for sharing, it's truly inspiring . My name is Abby , and I am 22 years old , I love traveling, and experiencing new things, and loving on people . If I could go anywhere on earth right now , it would definitely be to Haiti . The reason why ? I have been before but haven't had the finances to travel there again . My husband lives in Haiti , and we miss each other very much . I have a heart for the people over there , love the mountains there, love playing soccer with the kids , and just living life real and raw. I could keep working a job I have , and save up . But there's no way I could pass this opportunity up to potentially go quicker and to see my husband, and best friend again after almost one year of being apart from him . I sincerely hope you continue to have awesome travels and experiences and may God bless you for real. And thanks if your reading this :) -Abby

dear @justkay, since I was born in Colombia and grew up in Italy I never felt there was a place a could call home but Earth. Having always identified as a citizen of the world I constantly feel eager to travel as much as possible and learn. I can't think of a better chance to combine both and have a great time creating beautiful stories along with you. Hopefully I/we achieve that goal travelling through the insides of bali or any place around there that's been in my dream bucket list for so long. Best

Dear Kay, I cannot express enough how much your videos have influenced my life. As a recent graduate from the University in Kenya, I have been an ardent follower of your work for the past two years. Your unique style of storytelling and your ability to capture the essence of each destination is awe-inspiring. Watching your videos has sparked a fire within me, igniting a strong desire to explore the world and create stunning cinematic videos of my own. Your Tanzanian video was an absolute masterpiece! The way you showcased the beauty and day to day life of the Hadzabe tribe through breathtaking cinematography and storytelling was truly remarkable. It's evident that you have an eye for detail and a talent for capturing the essence of a place. I believe that Kenya would be a perfect fit for your next adventure. We have incredible natural landscapes, stunning wildlife, and a rich cultural heritage that is sure to leave you in awe. I would be absolutely honored to travel with you and learn from your expertise. I believe that this opportunity would be a life-changing experience for me, allowing me to not only expand my knowledge of videography and storytelling but also to discover new cultures and make lifelong memories. Thank you for the incredible work that you do, and I hope to have the opportunity to travel with you soon!
