Making 130,000 dollars in US and making 1 crore in India are two completely different things.

100 percent agree because in india / pakistan its a nightmare for 80 percent only 20 percent can achieve but in US its common 1 crorr is nothing there because the average spending and average income as compared to india is like untouchable peak even black collar job holder can make 130k usd in a year there But here black collar job holder can only make this amount if they work till their 70s

In both the cases, one would be paying 35 to 40% tax, but the cost of living and standard of living both would be quite low in India. Personally, I feel, making that amount living in Indian metro cities would be a bad idea.

Investing 95% in just index fund is also not a good idea bro. I would suggest make a mix of debt and equity so you have some leverage. May be some real-estate as well down the line

I feel proud of u but at same time feel sorry the money u lost, One advice for young people who want to invest just make sure u study investing first before getting into it becuase its not that simple u can spend 3 or 4 years in college studying one specific field but want to invest in stocks n crypto etc, not studying just investing blindly.
