If you want to fly Emirates First Class from Dubai to just about anywhere right now, it'll likely cost you upwards of $10,000... I scored a ticket from Bangkok to Dubai then onto Frankfurt for $3,168 and was challenged by my colleagues to get my money's worth with all the Emirates First Class experience has to offer. Needless to say, I accepted.
Was it a bit crass? Without a doubt. But was it some of the most fun I’ve ever had on a flight? Absolutely.

There have been quite a few aviation vloggers who have published videos of EK F and J cabins recently - did you (or the TPG team) pay for the flight/s anonymously or were the tickets provided by Emirates?

I heard that some wines taste different on a plane. It would be interesting to interview a couple of sommeliers for each main carriers and hear their point of view and to see what goes behind each wine list.

I don't know about recreational drugs (alcohol, tobacco, etc), however, I've seen videos of people saying that food (pasta, desserts etc) tastes and smells different on airplanes because our senses are modified by being on an airplane, chefs take this into consideration when creating the recipe. Some food can seem bland on airplane....and good on ground.

Love the video and to see your enjoyment. Lucky enough to have tried First just once, on a 4 hour flight.The wine is exceptional and the whole experience is simply nuts !

This looks fantastic but how does one get a good deal on a first class trip? Also, I try to fly NYC to Athens on Emirates and they don’t use the double decker plane.

Emirates First Class seems to be the most over reviewed first class product there is. There should be more Gulfstream 650ER reviews (with actual flying)!
