I stumbled upon this video 4 years ago when I didn't even have a boyfriend but was dreaming of my wedding day and got inspired to bake my own wedding cake haha Today marks 2 months of engagement to my man and I told him a couple weeks ago I wanted to bake our wedding cake. 😊 Definitely doing this! ❤

I too bake and have been on pause for almost 4years and this just gave me a reason to come back!! Although simple it was elegant and beautiful and I’m sure it taste great! I actually stumbled upon your channel about half an hour ago. The first video I watched was your wedding cake at home tutorial and you mentioned how you were going to make your own cake. You look SO happy! I love that you showed us but as well it seems you enjoyed the process of getting married. To many brides is just stress stress stress and they didnt made their own wedding cake! I wish you guys MUCH MUCH joy! Congrats and thanks!

Omg! It’s so amazing and reassuring to see that you made your own cake. I am thinking of making my own cake because I have been baking for a while and nothing would make me happier! Before I decided on this, I found out that a lot of the bakeries aren’t open around me due to the pandemic and the one that is, is unfortunately charging a lot more because of financial reasons. I’m so excited and watching this video gives me a lot of ideas. Thank you!!

I use your vanilla recipe and love it but I learned that if you use magic line cake pans and bake at 335 degrees Fahrenheit the tops will come out flat so you don't really have to trim anything and you don't have to trim the sides at all :)

Chelsea- I read your "Why I Quit My Job.." post. It was really moving. I am not surprised you are also a CPA because you come across as a bright person. You wrote that being self-employed felt less respectable than being employed. Actually, I think being able to run your own hugely successful business is magnitudes more of an accomplishment and respectable than working for someone in corporate America. Great job, Chels! Your cake was gorgeous and I love that it was a funfetti cake. I plan to make my own wedding cake in August. It'll probably be a key lime cake. Note: 8/25 would be my 4th wedding anniversary. Hubby and I had a Vegas wedding and never had a cake.

Great job! I bake at 325°, white mix I fill the pans half full, chocolate a little less than half full, it takes longer and they bake higher. I mix Crisco with flour and make a paste to grease the pans. I did my cake too, a faux cake with a fountain and flowers. We had a dessert bar.

Omg!!! 😃 Me, my sister and our mom LOVE FUNFETTI CAKE!😍😋 I'm the baker in the family, so they always want me to bake Funfetti birthday cakes for them every year!
