oh, for some reason i thought there was no video editing involved on this. still, pretty amazing job. i assume the "I WILL NOT BE CONTAINED" text was added via video editing as well? also, could you post all of the lines related to the "trapped person" somewhere (like pastebin)? i missed that even though i rewatched the video several times, and i believe a lot of people did

+ExileLord I think another way that could've been done was by extracting the font texture. I found out how to by dumping textures from the Wii ISO and from a tutorial to change the fonts.

Question: the spooky modifier you added to the game... does it apply to all songs in the game or just your demonstrated track? Does Guitar Hero have a way to add specific tweaks like that on a per-song basis? Or is each song’s data just composed of note coordinates and audio stuff, as well as background data, then loaded into a universal song handler that injects those elements into their respective positions?

A little context, that still is from the original Madden NFL game. That image bursts through the intro scene like football players would charge through those paper banners. Basically he just pops out of nowhere with a really low quality crowd cheering noise, creating one of gaming's first accidental jumpscares.

Madden '92. How do I know? Only four Madden games have that crappy pixelated mug of John Madden because after '96, Madden NFL went straight to 32-bit, never looking back. I've had the displeasure of playing several early Madden games; that image is straight off the box cover of Madden '92 on the SEGA Genesis (the SNES version has a different but less pixelated image).
