This layout so reminds me of the Traveler's Notebook system that I love to use - but much more versatile! Please keep it and show us how to decorate. I will be buying for sure!

I love how you made this to suit your style! I want this to carry around and I love Rongrong but I like my covers to be toned down if I’m taking it out and about. I love florals and stripes too! You should totally make your own planner. It would be sooo pretty 😊

You can always white out the days. Which is what I do and continuously reuse it. Just use pencil.

I just got the 2021-2022 faith skinny classic planner and I'm making it my main planner. I love how you didn't have to really measure your paper for the divider! That's a great tip! I normally measure, but I'm going to try your way! I'm glad I came across your video! Those papers are so pretty! I love purple!

I’ve been eyeing that exact skinny planner since the release. Couldn’t quite put it in my online cart. Until I saw your video! I jumped on the Hobby Lobby App. The paper is half price. Had a 40% coupon for the planner. Already have those discs. Found a bargain on eBay. I’m so excited! This will travel in my purse! THANK YOU HEATHER❣️

I guess I’m just old, but I don’t like women being referred to as “babes.” I’ve seen several planners/dividers/stickers using that term. ☹️

I hate babes too. (I'm 21.) Especially "boss babe", it feels demeaning, like "boss" doesn't cover women, and boss babe is a cutesy name that women are playing with but not actually fulfilling.

I don't think age matters. I'm 34 and I love babe. My best girlfriend and I call each other Babe and I love the Boss Babe mentality. I think it's just a preference.

While Boss Babe doesn't bother me too much, their planner with the "Babes Helping Babes" cover rubs me the wrong way (and I must not be alone bc there was pretty much an entire shipment of them in my Joann clearance aisle). I love their empowerment line, but that cover is just a huge nope for me.

This is not the hobonichi layout. It's horizontal. Hobonichi (weeks) has all of the days on one page.

Love this idea! I wanted to try a half sheet size this year but the ones released weren’t my style either. I actually tried making one with a half sheet notes cover and old dividers from a mini. It worked pretty good but I like this idea more!

This was very helpful! I bought a planner on clearance for $8.99 but I don't love it, I hate most of the dividers and I hated the cover. I ended up switching out the rings, turned the cover backwards and covered the inside with glitter HTV. I'm on my way to loving it and I think your idea will get me there.

Not really Hobonichi....more like a slim horizontal....I am, however, waiting on a fauxbinchi layout from them!! My issue with the Hobonichi is the fact that it is a bound book..hence not very good for sticker usage.....so come on Happy Planner!!

I love how you covered the dividers to make it work for you! The flowers you used are beautiful! I’ve been interested in the skinny planner, but I can’t see paying that much for it when I can make my own lol I’ve been creating my own spreads using the half sheets, so I may continue doing that... thanks for sharing.

I think for me, this might be a great way to write a verse of scripture to have for each day and memorizing. And on the first monthly sheet I could pull a word from that scripture and write it here.

love this idea. I was bumped with this year's release as I loved the themes in some and not the layout so I was thinking of just getting two planners and frankenplanning. Then I thought what a waste of money. I was looking to downsize my planner since I'm not in school anymore. I settled on the new skinny planner as it had a basic layout and was portable. But rong rong isn't my style. I would say dream seeker or stargazer is more my vibe (both monthly-i write too much for a monthly to work). I'm planning to use the stargazer half sheet cover and with ur idea i'm going to cover my dividers with galaxy scrapbook paper. Thanks again. My twin sister and I love your videos.

This is cuteeeee. I am passing on these planner as I am abit worn out of seeing the same girls on the Rong Rong collection. I bought a lot the first round so these skinny’s only give me hope that for 2021 they will make these with non Rong Rong covers.

Oh my god after all the drama on the Happy Planner groups about Rongrong, you are a brave woman for saying the girls are not your style and you're going to actively cover them up. Rongrong is not my style AT ALL either (I don't like any drawings of people, Rongrong or otherwise) but that discussion got ugly so fast.

I think it's crazy how much of the items from Happy Planner are not being sold in Canada. By the time I get to Michaels everything is picked over and there is hardly anything left. Ordering from the U.S. is a nightmare because of shipping costs. I guess I will continue to admire from afar.

Any advice for someone who doesn't have the money for a Happy Planner puncher so I can do projects like this one? I like this idea to personalize a planner for my style but I can't put the money down for all the gadgets needed to do it all out...if that makes sense?

You could use a regular punch and then cut slits at each circle!

Rachael Weidemann people have used i regular hole punch and slit to make the “arch” shape perfect for disc ! Shouldn’t be more than a dollar to get the punch. I’m sure you can find videos on it on YT

Just a point. Hobonichi doesn't actually have that layout. It is comparable to the size though. The layout is very different in the hobo. Otherwise thank you for sharing. :)

Im not into rong rong, theyre cute but i actually find them annoying. Im more of a fuctional planner tho and would rather put fun quotes in empty spaces. This is also a horizontal layout, not hobonichi....alll hobonichi layout ive seen have all days on one page and the other pages has large space with little boxes to track weather or nites or whatever else. I do love how this turnes out, the purples are great for fall!

Skinny planners 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ When I read that, i was slightly offended until I actually saw the planner 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Being a fluffy girl the RongRong products don't appeal to me
