I never get a real silky silk press, but then I've only ever done it myself. My hair just gets so dry and puffy the day after I flat iron it, so I've started just blow drying it and putting in 4-6 bantu knots to keep it stretched and usually wearing in 2 big braids most of the time.

It works really well for me and it helps keep my hair straight up to 3-4 weeks. I don’t know how to wrap my hair so this method is a life saver 👏🏽🥹. Great video sis

If done right a silk press can last for weeks lol especially if you use a good dry shampoo when it starts to get oily

I live in the southern US where it is humid and wondering if this would work for me. Is it possible the weather there at that time of the year February it being cold helped?
