If you're starting your way as a 360 videographer who wants to make decent quality VR videos, record ambisonic sound and doesn't have a big budget, then my setup idea might come in handy for you. What you need is the Insta360 One X2 (or One X3) and Zoom H2n. And a bunch of other stuff listed below. But even all this all together is cheaper than buying this Titan camera for $15,000. Hi. I have all things and I'm testing it before the trip. My question will be about video quality. Could you share with me principles and best video settings in Insta360 One X2? I have to get best 360 shots similar to yours. No to sure will be cloudy or sunny. I wanna film outdoor mainly and maybe indoor. I want to use manual mode vs auto. What kind do you use? Thank you in advance.

Hey! I mostly use auto settings and the HDR mode. Filming indoors is honestly a bad idea, but outside it usually looks amazing rain or shine. Check out this 360 videos playlist of mine from another channel where I post all sorts of travel stuff: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i5yjo7ady8zUm6M.html Just make sure you read the description every time, because I usually mention what camera I use here and there. Some of those 360 vids were made with the GoPro Max, just so you know.

Thanks. I am not going to film indoor most of the time. It is good news using camera is so simple. So simple turn on HDR and auto exposure mode and don't have to worry about anything. That after trip edit all together with h2n spatial audio. I am so happy;) I know you channel before :) watch your videos in oculus @@stuff2check so it is

@@stuff2check unfortunately i ruined my Video s by turning on HDR....i have shaky videos and artifacts I forgot that this only ok with tripod. I have recorded holding selfie stick and walking around. I will upload some samples on KZfaq so you can see what am I talking about.

Does this also work with insta360 1-inch 360? Because it can not record spatial audio.

Sure it does. You only need a device like this Zoom H2n for spatial audio so that you could sync it up with your camera’s audio in post. Just make sure to make some noise when you start filming, this way it’s easy to synchronize for sure.
