Hi! in this video I'm showing how I made some keychains using polymer clay! I made a Tiger, koala, elephant , giraffe, and i had to make a raccoon because i love them.

ABOUT MY CHANNEL & ME
Hi my name's Kaelie!
I found Polymer clay at a young age through KZfaq and have loved it ever since. During 2020 I decided to start selling Animal Crossing characters on Etsy while also in school. It was far more successful than I could of imagined and with each order I was improving my skills!
Inspiration hit and i decided to take the risk and start making my own creations AND share them here on KZfaq! Now I make cute little animals which I call Kuties! my biggest goals are to inspire others and bring joy to others through each of my happy little Kuties, I hope to soon one day sell all my art and creations in person. My channel and business is small now but with your help we can turn it into something bigger!

Allemaal zo cute en mooi… de giraf lijkt in het begin wel wat op een koe 😅 (misschien kan je die volgende keer is maken of een 🐷 of een eekhoorn 🐿️ 😅) maar als hij geverfd is is het wel duidelijk een giraf maar zou inderdaad zijn nek volgende keer wat langer maken … wel super leuk en ga ik ook is proberen bedankt voor de duidelijke video ❤

So adorable! The blush marks are the perfect final touch on these figures. They're all super cute, but my favorites have to be the tiger and the elephant!

I like using folkart! :) I also add a bit of water to thin the paint a little sometimes

Very talented very cute! Thank you for sharing❣️ What type of Clay do u use, color, type? I 1st thought in one of ur videos I thought the clay was dirty (as it’s sometimes impossible to keep white clay clean) I make PC jewelry & have started doing some figurines. & using white clay drives me insane sometimes lol. I hope u don’t mind my ? TIA 🥰 I wanted to add. The dropping of ur piece I just had a conversation with another artist How often I/we drop our work! I’m happy that it’s not just me! I said I was getting worried about myself 😂

Thank you! I use original sculpey, mixed with premo for smaller pieces like keychains .I get it in white in bulk, a 3.75 lb box. The clay IS "dirty" lol! I live in an older apartment that has a lot of dust, and lint from my clothes etc. I prefer to paint my pieces instead of using colored clay so that i can buy it in bulk for cheaper, and get any colors I want without having to collect and mix a bunch of clay colors , and then worry about keeping it clean lol.

@@Kutiesart. Thank you for response! I think if using white clay in a sterile lab it would still get dirty! I’m OCD to the max unfortunately & it drives me insane trying to keep it clean! I dried my clay out using so much alcohol to clean the little piece I was doing I write myself little notes telling myself “it doesn’t have to be perfect” bc it might be perfect to someone else. My daughter is forever telling me she doesn’t see all the little imperfections in all the pieces I have put in the scrap or not sale box. BUT I do see them I have to get over that somehow! I have a mix of clays. I wanted to try the different types. I do have color clay but I’ve found I’ve been doing more with Cernit translucent & coloring the clay with alcohol inks for jewelry. I use premo cernit & craftsmart more often. Craftsmart is good & malleable. It’s alittle cheaper than premo.

@@sun-risen8686 I'm the same way , if it has any little flaw i feel like i need to discount it even if others say they don't see what's wrong lol! But hey being dedicated to producing the best quality work you can is also a good thing :). Although handmade items will always come with their little quirks though haha.

@@Kutiesart. I totally agree with! I just have to get rid of that annoying voice in my head lol. After reading your reply as to why u discounted your piece. I felt like this/you is a good person! & of like mind! & I started confiding in u although we’ve never met! Crazy how a few words on the internet can tell u if a person is a sincere good person or not I’ve only started opening up alittle recently about how my mind has a mind of its own lol & the OCD.

1 inch Split rings! They could also be called keychain rings, split key rings, etc.

Hello! I’m very interested at knowing why is the strawberry cow keychain 5 dollars less on your shop? Is it because it’s easier to make? I’m just very interested and I think your prices are very fair!! 😋

Hi thanks for asking! With full honesty the reason is because the pink paint had a strange reaction to the resin several days later causing a bit of color lifting, or splotchiness in some areas. Its really barely noticeable which is why i didn't remove them from the listing all together however as the perfectionist that I am I had to discount them. I haven't gotten around to it yet but I plan to replace them soon with new strawberry cows if you'd rather wait for those lol. they will match the others pricing. (I'm using a new resin and new paints in this video that don't have this issue)
