Hello and welcome! In this video I'm sharing how I make my own personalized datebook planner using the new leather planner from Elizabeth Craft Designs, some scrapbook papers, my digital download planner pages, and some pretty rub-ons from 49 and Market. It's so easy!

Beautiful new planner! I can’t believe that you do not keep your old planners 😮 What a great reference to look back on. (I save all my old calendars 😂 - yes I’m one of those weirdos!!)

Thanks Geri. I used to keep them, especially when I was doing traditional scrapbooking, because I needed that time and date reference on what we did, but now that I've been doing my weeklies, I don't see the need to save my datebook planner. But as I said, moving forward, I am making them simpler and with no photo mats, so maybe a little less hard to part with at the end of the year.

That's why I've decided to go a little simpler this year. It broke my heart to throw them away last year, but my space is very limited here and I'm okay with it.

Do you have a punch recommendation for the full-size planner?

Same punch does the A5 size planner as well. You just slide the extender bar to A5 and make sure the holes are aligned to A5 settings on the punch. I just tested it out to make sure and it works for both sizes! 😊

Another beautiful planner! I can’t believe you said that you throw out the old ones, but I guess we all have to downsize at some point! Does this mean that you won’t be doing the week by week in 2024? I would miss those videos!

Thanks Ellen! My space is very limited here, so as long as I'm keeping my weekly and other scrapbook-type planners, I'm good. No need to save a datebook. I'll be doing the 2024 weeklies for sure, but maybe in a different format.
