These types of videos really helped calm my nerves when I’m taking photos of people on the street. As well as helped my technique, and even given me courage to start engaging with my subjects, rather than always hide from them. Good stuff man, keep it up! 🤟🏼

This is such a fun and interesting activity that I’ve recently been developing. One thing that helps me a lot with the editing workflow is making full use of Resolve’s cut tab for quickly sorting through hours of footage. Great video! I always find it interesting to see someone else’s creative process

thanks for showing us your process, your POV videos are so great to watch as both a photographer and just relaxation. Such a great combo of lo-fi beats, beautiful photography, and being along for the ride in POV style. Keep em up!

I find your videos very informative (yet not overwhelming) and it gets me very excited to go out there and start taking photos. And to a total beginner like me, you don’t overlook any needed steps regardless how small or trivial it might be to pros (like uploading the video on KZfaq). Your videos are so organized and to the point! I wait for your videos and i hope u continue doing them. You seriously rock, man 🙌🏻

Thanks for making this video! I've been wanting to do some POV photography since I've started watching your videos, even picked up a go pro last week to get started on doing some with my own little twist. Also, one group of people I that many of us might not think of but have benefited from mediums like photography and can benefit from this style of video are people with conditions that prevent them from enjoying simple things like going outside. Many of the things we take for granted like being able to go out for a walk to take photos or being able to walk at all are luxuries that many people have lost or will never have for themselves and content such as these videos help them enjoy experiences they would otherwise miss out on. Keep up with the great work!

I’m editing my first vlog/pov and I wish I watched this before even shooting. I’m doing it all backwards and I recorded my pov footage in one big clip and I also put too many vlog clips. And then I just dumped it all in the timeline in whatever order premier picked. Then had to put the clips in order and now I’m currently picking where I think the good photos are. I’m definitely going to be more mindful of the number of clips next time. And also edit the photos first. Thank you for your video.

Nice! I'm not sure if this would actually be helpful to your workflow or not, but one thing you could try is to snap or clap into the mic everytime you take a photo that you think you'll end up using. When you drop the GoPro clip in the timeline, look for the clear audio waveform peaks from your snap/clap. Could be a quick way to get to the good spots. Alternatively, you could cover the lens with your hand and black out the frame. Then either scrubbing through the footage for blacked out spots, or using Resolve's scene cut detect would maybe work.
