How I Make Soap - with Recipe! || raspberry vanilla
Hello Friends! Today, I show you how I make my cold process soap scented in delicious raspberry vanilla. I show you my entire process from beginning to end. From measuring out my oils and butters, mixing that with my lye solution, adding colors and scent, pouring into the mold and sculpting the tops of the soap to make it look like icecream cake! I also show you the cut at the very end so stick around to see how it all turns out!
#makingsoap #soapmakingprocess #soapbusiness
Recipe (makes a 6 lb loaf of soap):
- 113 g castor (5%)
- 495 g coconut oil (22%)
- 180 g any light oil (8%) (hemp seed, apricot kernel, sweet almond oil, etc)
- 1013 g olive oil (45%)
- 450 g shea butter (20%)

Lindsay, I’m so sorry about the loss of your hubby. I’m a soaper too and lost my hubby to cancer October 2021. Making soap was something we did together when we started our business. Now, I’m debating on to keep the business going. It did help me a lot to escape the loss, but now it seems it’s not the same without him. I watch Jerika’s videos. Good luck on your soap making adventures.
