To be honest, Edgar is another type of experience of brawler. It's an unconventional character that either exceeds with the best results or painfully looses the game, but in my opinion it's the assassin that helps others; i learned that to get a kill with him and survive death seconds later, you have to collaborate with your teammates and find the right moment when the enemies have low health (or that are good picks for Edgar) then if in range, jump over them and get that kill, after that it's all downhill. I use the "let's fly" gadget and "hard landing" star power because i found that he actually finds many times when the enemy is between 900/1500 health remaining, and with a single jump (and maybe some attacks), you got a sure kill, but the first gadget is a MONSTER because it gave me so many times a lot of dps potential, instead of waiting for my super to charge, i just tap a single button while i activate my super so i can recharge supers while killing people and make a chain reaction that sometimes made me POTG in even matches that looked impossible for the abilities of edgar alone. Now you're wondering, why do i know all of this? Because i wanted to experience *what true pain was by mastering Edgar* (i'm at Gold 2 and tbh i'm happy because i bounce between 690-750 trophies average, which means free mastery)

Fun fact: Edgar is not the brawler people used with the most thumbs downs it’s actually Mortis

I'm an edgar main and I feel sad that edgar just never gets a proper buff. He's so fun to play unless you're playing against Shelly, surge or buzz who are so common in the upper trophy range. I feel so invalidated whenever one of my teammates just thumbs downs me... :/

If ur using Edgar on heist, u should use his other star power and gadget. They’re. A lot more valuable in game modes like that

As a Edgar main I just don't play use toxic pin and sprays and I just don't get shouted at by my teammates also basically any base race Heist map is good (if you have teammates which I don't but somehow got good randoms so yeah) Edit: I also recommend using el primo and Sam and Edgar in guest maps (change Sam for barley for maps like pit stop and bull or darryl as a alternative)

Kairos tripping with the edgar pick he's the only brawler I was able to push to rank 22 in one sitting at power level 1

As a crow main(not edgar but also annoying and i have used edgar a lot) i gotta say kairos prob just annoyed he got jumped a million times as a trower, he does counter every brawler he can 2 shot with his defense abity and is able to aproach everyone if there is walls in the way, tbh nita is worse to me, not cause edgar can also counter her if the nita doesnt have the right gagets, but because she is less viable in many gamemodes, her range is just less than those with higher damage, and her bear can be easily avoided, at least edgar can be a better support on all gamemodes other than heist when conpared to a nita
