I've been in such a laggard mode in a while now that work has suffered and I've been down and out. This came as a huge help. Very practical points that look like they'll actually work. Honestly, I was so bored of other videos that talked of waking up early and making your coffee and working out (good for those who benefit from them) but this is what I actually needed - Identifying productive time, scheduling the night before (I tried and it makes a HUGE difference). Thank you for this ❤ Will look forward to more such videos.

Hi...I am a 42 year old doctor and a mother of two. Though I already had my hands full with family and full time job, lately I was feeling that I wasn't accomplishing anything for myself. So I got myself registered for a upgrading exam and that brought me to your video..how I can manage everything in my day. I would definitely follow two tactics...first physically keep away my phone while I am studying as that really disturbs me a lot and planning a highlight for my day so that even if I do only that thing ..I can go to sleep satisfied and wake up motivated. Thanks again for this video.

Oh My God ! Your research on this topic is incredibly Impressive & On the dot ! It reflects so much positivity ❤❤ To let you know Ankita , I am a medical student & I struggle with my habit of procrastination and cannot keep myself going until I feel pressurized by the exams / submissions / clinical work & also, the obvious distractions that you talked about come in my way a lot ! So I would definitely take away your tips of planning the next day before going to bed and the elimination of distractions. This video of yours worked as a gentle & important reminder to improvise ourselves just by making a few changes in our habits & staying committed to them . Thank you very much for this one . Lots of Love from Gujarat & keep going 💖💖

I love this! This couldn't have come in at a better time! I have been working from home since March and even though I thought I will love it, being in the writing field and not being keen on human interactions much, however, the days do tend to blend together after the initial euphoria melts away! Recently my workforce went100% remote permanently, which means I will be home a lot! I am still trying to work out a routine which sticks to me and will be love to have a 5am morning routine at some point. I work best in the morning hours and like to get the most of the writing done before the world wakes up. I love your videos so much! Keep doing what you are doing!

I loved your suggestions on identifying peak active hours, as mostly when we sit down to work and we don't have energy but time, we tend to take longer to achieve the task which could have been done in lesser time! Also I am a firm practicioner of different spaces or zones for work and rest and was glad to see someone like you following the same! Loved your suggestion on the important v/s urgent matrix and I'm definitely going to incorporate that in my routine! Love you loads! 💛💛💛

I loved the idea of "setting a daily highlight". It's the one factor that can decide the coury of your day. I used to do mediation earlier, slowly other things took priority and then I let it slide. This particular point had helped me understand that it was the highlight of my day which gave me that ultimate satisfaction and also it made my better. Thank you so much..!!

This was a very useful video. I have read about the Eisenhower matrix during my MBA and I completely agree with you that dividing your tasks with respect to urgency and importance helps a lot in time management and makes it easier to prioritise your tasks which helps in better productivity. I am trying to follow this principle and will be continuing it until perfection. Another insight I would like to follow is end of the work ritual. That truly is very helpful in disconnecting and calming yourself down after a hectic day. Thank you so much for your insightful suggestions.

Ankita I just loved the introduction to this video. Yes, every day may not be super productive but every day should be satisfying! I’d really love to try the “disconnect “ part. I’m a doctor and doing my post doctoral so every night I’d be in bed with my books or laptop or thesis work, so it’s like one work day merging into another. A physical disconnect would really help I believe! Thank you for this video!

Really helpful video! Time Blocking has helped me to draw the line between working from home and my personal time for other works , I allocate time for cooking & cleaning etc. This way I feel better organized and focused. I take one task at a time and try to complete till I am done with the other works also which are associated with the task. For example, if I have alloted time for cooking, I would clean the utensils simultaneously so that all the kitchen related work gets completed during the same blocked time. Only then I move to another task. This makes me more focused.

You have no idea how much this will help every one. Thank you for making this video. It has certainly intrigued my intellectual self. Personally for me the time blocking factor was a real help. As a mother to a toddler I sieve in my work (I am an Academician) as per my toddlers sleep schedule. The challenge for me is that i feel so drained by all the running around at home that when my child is asleep I tend to sleep with him 😴.. Therefore time blocking will be of great help. Once again thank you for making this video.

Hi ankitha..! I’m happy to watch this video because the most important thing I do not do is the proper disconnection from the work like not having any physical ritual signalling myself..! I follow most of the points you have mentioned. I tend to organise my work depending on my kids activity like when they are in deep mood of playing and afternoon nap and by evening I complete my work but I do not disconnect properly. I hope following this last point will really help me. Thank you so much for bringing that into notice.

I am completely in love with your new content on this channel. Feels so wise and motivating. I would like to work time blocking method as I m tend to get distracted by many things and can easily fall under confusion state.

Such a meaningful video😊 I have applied the last tactic of "how to disconnect" and that has really worked for me to set a boundary between work and personal life. That way, I can set aside some time for self, family and doing work that makes me happy ✨

Thank you so much for this video! Its so motivating ! I want to select highlight for the day as u suggested and change that work zone of mine from bed.. As I am always in bed with my laptop. Looking forward to change the position after completing work considering it to be a sacred place for resting. Thanks alot for the video.

I found it quite helpful in prioritizing the peak active hours for myself. I will try and focus on finding my productive hours and practice that everyday. Thankyou for all the charts, I have taken screenshots which will help me in organizing my day too. Good day. ❤

I really resonated with your thoughts about disconnecting after a work day; physically separating yourself from the place of work and having and end of work ritual definitely seem like options I'de like to give a try during this wfh routine which (as you mentioned correctly) seems like an endless day these days :)

As someone who suffers from anxiety about not having done enough work in the day, I'm going to try out your tip about disengagement ritual at day end. Though I do have a reading time scheduled (using my e-reader or a physical book to calm myself down) before going to bed, I am going to try out the warm shower to see if it can calm me down any further. It might just be the signal to 'relax' that my anxious brain badly needs!! Do keep making such videos....loved it!

This is such a special video and more than the video your voice is soothing. The best advise the thing about how to disconnect it’s so difficult to understand the difference. How calmly you made us all realise these points. ❤️😍more power to you 🌺

Thank you for doing this video. I've loved watching your videos. Three key takeway points that personally I can adpot are: have a physical work place that is distinct, do an activity that signals the end of the workday, and most importantly, get a planner to plan the days much more effectively. Once again, thank you for this lovely video! PS: Daily highlights and the matrix was very useful. I haven't thought about tasks in these categories.
