How I Organize My Infusion Supplies

Hello GutSquad! I figured I'd give you all a quick inside look at my infusion supplies setup. I've played around with it a lot over the years but this is how I organize my supplies currently. Just a quick note that I didn't mention in the video...I get hydration therapy because I have "dumping syndrome," wherein my ostomy outputs way too much. The infusions help to replenish my fluids and keep me healthy(ish). If any of you have ports, PICCs, Hickmans, etc., please let me know how you like to organize your supplies or if you have suggestions for others out there. I always LOVE reading your comments! So glad to see your smiling face. Your videos are great, keep smiling, have a wonderful holiday season. I wish I was as organized. My extra supplies are in the closet and every week I load up the bathroom drawers for what I need, for the week.

Hey Michael...your comments always give me a reason to smile. You're a founding member of the GutSquad for sure. Thanks for your holiday wishes. I hope that you and your loved ones can enjoy some good food and post-Covid celebrations after the craziness that was last year's holiday season. Everyone has different methods to the madness of managing medical supplies. If you've found a system that works then I say it's just as good as mine 😉

I swear I'm gonna have to see wether or not I can have a porta-cath put in for IV infusions when I end up in the hospital as this most latest admit for dehydration about a week ago was difficult. I've had so many IV's put in since november of 21 due to so many frequent admits that my veins are shot and they can't get IV's or when they manage they can't be used because they can't even flush the IV line with normal saline.

Amazing the stuff I had (and still have) no idea about. You certainly don't realise how valuable your health is until something happens. I'm wondering if you need to do these infusions because the intestine takes a lot of fluid out of waste as it passes? I know I never drink 1.5ltr a day. Just had to come back and say your cat is adorable!😸
