Winter season in Indiana can be hard for sure. Because the sun setting earlier, more gray days than sunny, cold for the next 3-4 months...as soon as October ends....my brain is like here we go. I feel you on all of this. Upping my vitamin D3 has sort of helped with low energy levels on the gray days. B-12 is great too. I'll be keeping you in prayer girl👍

I have clinical depression. Thank you for posting these videos. My pets ,2 cats and a dog, help me deal. My wife has a hard time understanding how the pets help but her and our son don't help as much.

I feel the frustration on the rear ending! Some guy cut me off as I was merging on the freeway and then slammed on his breaks in the middle of January in Canada a few years back. The worst part was he was like “ whoa this is the second time this happened this week” yeah I wonder why. Still I was the one at fault. My 9 year old son got a dog about a month ago my moms friend with horses rescued running around near a freeway acces road near his property and caught the dog rolling over on his back exhausted full of little scabs nicks and cuts. My son called him Bengie and we had looked for his owner every way possible. He has brought a lot of joy around our house and we also recently got 2 female guinea pigs before him so our oldest cat in the house has been acting younger again with new excitement. I suffer from bipolar, severe anxiety, PTSD and ADD and my apartment is total chaos but it's not all just me. It's my boyfriend too. He's also mentally ill. He hoards ham radios and computer geek stuff and I hoard makeup and skin care stuff lol I know it's not good for our mental health so I had a bit of energy today so I cleaned up the kitchen as best as I could and it made me feel good :) Thanks for posting! I missed you! I found your channel right before the virus stuff started and could really relate to you and I love your content!

to everyone in the comments, seasonal effects are alot like music dictating your mood, now It doesnt ,You are but you need to find out why youre letting it and the rest is in your hands , ive never had seasonal depression but every season is associated to great childhood memories of mine so i start feeling nostalgic whenever a new season starts which does get in the way believe it or not its distracting from work and main goals , then i remembered now is what makes a good memory

A couple of months ago just after lock down started in South Africa I finally bought a Audio interface and started recording music, and if it wasn't for that decision I don't know where I would have been today. I think my point is that a person just needs to find those one or two things in their life that can take them away from the bad places. 🤘🖤

I've been having depression and PTSD. Thanks mom and grandma 🙃 I'm trying to get up and get motivated. It's so hard when people try to use you as a family counselor while dealing with your own shit. I'm so just been crying off and on today.

Planet fitness has tanning beds and red light therapy beds included in their $25 a month membership. Also in korea I would get a heat lamp and therapy light, a kiddie pool filled with sand. I would put my swim shorts on, put suntan lotion on that had a familiar beachy smell, then ocean sounds on 2 stereo bluetooth. Wrapped a towel around my head and laid in the kiddie pool filled with sand under the lamps with all that going. It actually cured my depression and i left it set upand hit it probably every other day for an hour.

I get hit by seasonal depression. It's hits me differently and both in the summer and late fall. Late fall because of the short days and in the summer because of heat I hate the hot days.

Good morning from Australia!! I also get seasonal depression around this time but we're the other way around and it's getting HOT here. Fire season has started again. My hayfever has kicked in. And everyone is in a panic for Christmas .. I just try stay focused that it's Jesus birthday 👑💖 And hug my loved ones as much as I can!!! I looove your ferret btw. This is the first year I've felt seasonal depression. Last few weeks have been hard for me,changes at work (work for the mart, so its always rough this time of year) and my uncles have both tested positive with the virus in the last month. Definitely feeling drained and mentally burnt out. But just got to keep on moving forward. Fighting off my demons. But on a positive just hit a year sober this past Tuesday, and got a new kitten (named him Draven) so its not been all bad.

So true about making sure we are pursuing our passion during this time. Also, don't watch the news 🙂

Hey hun i love your honesty i have a sads lamp that you use 20 to 30 mins at a time uv treatments the only thing that helps me get through. I was just wondering if you have ever heard of sad uv lamp treatments . Routines and stuff like that have helpped me told anything you do like wash your hair make a good healthy meal etc is a victory its so nice to see others open up about there daily life it makes me feel not as bad about my struggles sorry i didnt see this i dont get notifyed when any of my subs post at all youtube messes with me when anyone posts and i even clicked the bell to make sure i see posts doesnt seem to work though sigh

seasonal depression are so frustrating ... I am from Norway and the winters are sooooooo cold ....

You know it’s kinda hard not to isolate yourself when you don’t really have anyone. I have my brother who lives with me but sometimes I think I’m a bother and it makes me feel like I should just leave him alone and anyone else for that matter. No one likes a saddie and that’s why I keep to myself. Am I not normal? Or Does anyone else feel this way? Lmk please. Tired of feeling down in the loner dumps.
