How I practice - full 12min no edits | from warm up to ready to record

Thought I'd share some behind-the-scenes footage. Here's a full 12min warm up to a track, no edits. I don't practice scales, patterns, arpeggios or anything technique related any more. I simply try to warm up my fingers, zone in on timing and phrasing and attempt to play interesting lines.

Bless you, thanks for the kind words. re frets -I've become used to stainless steel frets, mainly due to the Ibanez AZ (like the guitar in this video), but I honestly don't mind either way.

hi lee, love your style of playing and your amazing feeling! I am sure i know all your ibanez demos :D :D :D For me is to learn a Song one of the best method,if i practice a song/solos ( Dream Theaters Count of Tuscany at the Moment) i want that its perfect in the end......so i practice hours of hours.....day by day....often the same licks.....than all the little nuances....and working on the right Sound ofcourse....sometimes its hard, and if there is a difficult lick somestimes i want to burning my guitar :D :D....than its time for a break...going outside,drink a coffee.....and than starts again :D love to play guitar nearly 30 Years.....and never gets boring...but one of the most important things is.....practice...practice....practice.....eat....sleep.....practice ....practice :D have a nice day and keep on rocking :)

Lee Wrathe deserves his own signature. I wish he would collab with Martin Miller on those studio cover song videos. BTW its weird that most sponsored Ibanez endorsers also play Laney amps. Maybe Ibanez has a deal with Laney? Dunno.
