Hi Suzy.... love everything kama kawaida. Hmmm ... let's talk chopping greens. I plant lots of greens, I love eating them, I hate chopping them. Here's my secret. I harvest them, clean, remove the hard stalks, mix up the different varieties and then pack them (un chopped) in freezer bags. ( in the right portions) On the day I need to cook, I just get out the bag and just crush the frozen greens by pressing the bag and voila!! out of the bag come 'chopped' greens. Try it, just don't get too excited with the crushing otherwise you get minced greens. 😆😆 so we have greens with almost all our meals bila stress ya kuchop.

Hi Sue. Have you ever thought of using an electric hand mixer to help mix your chemicals before you add water, I find it faster and I use less energy 😉 The only thing you might need to do is protect your mixer's inside from the drops that would get to it. (One blew out on me) So I usually use a carton box - a size that covers the hand mixer's bottom half-way, I poke holes where the mixer's blades will be joining the mixer and we are good to go.

Hi Suzy. How about you try cooking mbuta instead of tilapia, especially for the kids. Mbuta has very large bones and as kids, we always deboned them ourselves until we were older to debone tilapia.

Great job ! The greens are nice 👍🏾! I totally do not mind chopping Kale 🥬 and Cabbage , but the snipping of the vegetables kills the life out of me . The Amaranth , gosh the cost !!!! A while back , I went to buy some at the store and at the till , a bunch , nothing out of the ordinary I’m told $3.00 ,! So I was gobsmacked 😶! I quickly removed all but 2 . My obsession ended, meanwhile I think it grows wild at home 🏡, yawa !! Seriously and yet Kale 🥬 is good enough ! I felt bad ! I love the Amaranth too, I paired it with spinach. I too love ❤️ the combination of Tilapia ! I can eat Tilapia every day (my xtra self ) I love fish terribly ! Gikomba has always been a fish plug , now where in the huge market place , 🤷🏾‍♀️…. Sorry .That was a delicious sauce for the fish and the fresh greens with UG ! 😋 😋… now I want fish … smh 🤦‍♀️ ! Bye 👋…. Cheers that was fun 🤩..

Ever since i learnt that milk in ATMs sometimes have chemical preservatives and is often highly contaminated; is a `NO GO ZONE' for me. No wonder the funny taste. You are never sure if it's fresh. Heri the packaged or getting it directly from a reliable farmer.

@@suzyshomestead Look for research on milk quality with focus on ATM milk. I found it to be revolting; kwanza when it comes to hygiene maintenance. It tops the list when it comes to usage of illegal preservatives and being highly contaminated; actually people have been caught. Unless it is from a reputable vendor, it is not worth the money... Besides, ask yourself why milk ATMs are slowly becoming more common in developing countries and not developed countries despite them being the manufacturers??? Leaves a gap to be filled
