@badnewsbruner2 жыл бұрын
No shit, right!? You can just hook code right into other code, and don't even have to know how to code lol. They really have made game development super accessible with the UE. This video really opened my eyes to how LITTLE time some of these shysters on Steam spend on these asset fips. It seems like this is the easy part, the hard part would be animation and 3D modeling. I wish I knew how to make 3D models, I would make a living selling assets on the UE and Unity store. You could clean house doing that shit.
@ReprobateMind2 жыл бұрын
@@badnewsbruner As someone who went to university for that exact reason, no you probably wouldn't. It's like everything, about 50 of us started in college, about 2/3 are either modelling or teaching now and 1 of those 2/3 has a fucking bafta. You don't need the uni or college, you need to be utterly obsessed with it and never not be modelling. Basically look online for some tutorials and just start, but be warned, there are a boat load of people who can model to a decent standard and hardly any of them will ever get paid anything for it. Tons of fun, great hobby, really useful for different projects and reasons, but it's not a job for a lot of people. Also, modelling is amazing, it was my happy place for a while, but having to flatten your UVs for texturing, the texturing itself, animation and especially rigging are awful parts that you have to do and learn for almost everything you model that will be animated is a ballache, don't want to put you off but it's not some, oh i could just learn this and clean house, you can't. there people who have been doing it longer than we could feed ourselves and their shit is industry standard and somehow free. Also the blueprint code is a lot harder than it seems. I've used to since 2013 and recently started to learn an actual coding language and I feel that connecting the nodes won't teach you anything I've followed tons of tutorials and had a lot of things working in blueprints but I didn't understand it. but seeing how everything connects together with IF, THEN, FOR, WHILE, BREAK, kinda logic it's easier in way to make sense of it than, lines and nodes everywhere.

Judging just by the spawn locations in the video - the creators of the original games use similar code to dictate spawns through the line of sight. However, there are usually 6+ players on a map meaning another 5 lines of sight other than the one you've just been killed by - hence spawning in front or just around the corner from enemies. Spawn trapping in call of duty is something of an art, looking where your teammates are on the mini-map can actually just be as useful as having a UAV up constantly as enemies will usually be spawning in locations far away from them. There is also a premise on spawn lines where running in and over an enemy spawn line can actually cause them to spawn elsewhere or flip. In Bo2 a game I've played for countless hours you can even add to lines of sight via sentries and guardian's of which I and my friends would use to spawn trap the ever-living hell out of enemies.

Finally, a person who understands that call of duty already has the spawn system from this video, it just is harder for the game to find good spawns when there are more players.

@Crack Rock yea but this is intended much like demolition game modes in the black ops series.
@DruidVR2 жыл бұрын
@Crack Rock for the type of game it is though the spawns are as good as they can be. You can't really relate it to anything else as it's a 6v6 respawn when you die type game on relatively small maps.

Sorry for the interruption, I know this has nothing to do with the video but its for you, to whoever is reading this and its urgent One day millions of people will vanish, the rapture is near! Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior! And Live a Faithful Holy Life! He doesn’t want anyone to be left behind! time is short! Call me a crazy person if you want too, but what I’m saying is the truth and you don’t know and realize, that you need Jesus! You don’t know Him, because you don’t go to Him! He is your only Hope. Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, that He died for you and all of our sins, acknowledge that you are a sinner and that you need Him, repent and ask forgiveness, and believe and have faith that He is real, For He is the only way to Heaven! Now once you accept Him, you will receive the Holy Spirit, now while you are alive, read your bible, follow God, and live for Him
