I am a relatively new viewer of your channel. I find it satisfying and relaxing to watch. I watched from the first video that you posted and I am now up to date. I do however have a question as I do not know any better. Of all of the boats that you have cleaned, I have never seen you clean the propellers. I also appreciate that you have explained about the forge scale. Thank you.
@Mobileblaster
@Mobileblaster 9 ай бұрын
Welcome to the channel 😊 Yeah normally the propellers are made of brass and don't get painted so no need to prepare the serface 👍 if your still hungry for more videos click my name or the profile picture then navigate to playlist and in their is extra content 😉 😊

Hello from Buffalo, NY on a warm 84°F, Labor Day Holiday. First rate job, Mick! When I started watching, and you pointed out the complexity of the surfaces to be cleaned, I was a worried; but not to worry, you did a first rate job - as usual. Hope all is going well for you and your family. Best wishes and good health, Roy

In terms of feedback, I have watched quite a number of your videos, you have skillzzz in video as well. Your sandblasting technique is artful. Without going KZfaq overboard on explanatory details, some basic job related specs would add educational component, media, nozzle, pressure, not clear on any of this, even CFM compressor size though I did catch video when you upgraded to 350 or at least bought a new 350. Based on speed I would guesstimate that you are working consistently with a 350.
@Mobileblaster
@Mobileblaster 7 ай бұрын
Yeah I understand adding more info would add more to the video quality but I don't add this info as I want to stay away from the how too side of things as alot can go wrong very fast and I don't want to be responsible for anyone hurting themselves trying to follow my style of working I'm not saying I'm doing things the right way or wrong way I just prefer to stay away from educational video type 👌👍 I used a 140 cfm for many years then a 180cfm for alot longer I think I started doing youtube after I had my 260cfm for a good amount of years I believe I've had that 5 or 6 year now I couldn't find a good replacement so I'm currently running 425cfm all 125psi I've also had alot of hours on a shop compressor 2500cfm 175psi and I know for sure that is too much for me haha

Do you blast the underside too and have you blasted the underside of a truck with a skirted side body above the chassis like a recovery vehicle? have you anywhere to work or just mobile? and do you primer after blasting?
@Mobileblaster

I will have blasted one before I've done all kinds of trucks and plant. I'm just mobile and try not to get involved with the finishing side of things. I can blast whatever the customer is willing to pay for 👌

Mick tell that guy that owns the shop That he needs to put up a tent so if it Dos rain at least you and the truck are Protected from the rain.! He can always take the tent down.! Or one of throus outdoor tents you have seen them around there white half round at The top with cement blocks on either side.!! It would help you out alot and him just to protect his investment on Time and labor from you if it is raining And you can keep working the job gets Done faster.! Just a thought.!

We have brain stormed this before but it would ultimately end up been used as a storage tent or parking. I'm not doing enough blasting at this shop to make it feasible or if he invested money the would want some return like 5 days aweek blasting and to be fair yeah they take bigger jobs on but it's a body shop that dose cab painting etc

This is a hack of a job, since there are so many obstructions... I wonder how they paint it then and do a good job.. 🤔
@Mobileblaster
@Mobileblaster 9 ай бұрын
They will take this into the paint booth jack it up in the air take the wheels off and sand the areas I cannot get then they strip whats needed to paint it. They make a real nice job just wish I could afford the time off work to stop and film it getting done 😬 if I'm back before it gets handed over to the customer I will definitely get some after shots but it's highly unlikely 😕 and asking them for photos They always forget 🫣

Great job mate! You need some little legs on your metal plate for the exhaust. That way there is some air space between the plate and grass, so it doesn’t get to hot and kill the grass
