These are great tips As for the extra strong super glue, I find it works well to dip a straightened paper clip into the glue, and apply it that way, because a drop is generally too much of the strong stuff.

I was almost happy when I started getting bullied for "playing with dolls" after 10. Almost... still made me stop playing with them at 14, and sold them all when I moved out at 19. Huge mistake....

Does the hot water remove paint and after you put it in the hot water will it become easier to come off all the time and dose the same apply to the hair dryer and how long does it take for you to take them off?

I believe the Super Glue technique is the Worst thing you can do to your figure, Especially if it’s an Expensive One. In the Long Run the Figure Will begin to get loose on certain points and you will have a new Glue layer from that. Added more or using a different technique for the second Time is NOT RECOMMENDED.

The broken parts can be reconnected , yes it involves superglue but also a metalic wire(this can be obtained from paper clip) and also precision and technique.Make a deep hole(in the center) to both broken parts in order for the metalic wire to fit and put superglue to the end parts of the wire and also put superglue around the holes of both broken parts .In the end when the superglue has dried then put supergluer around the connected area.From an estetic point of view it won't be appealing.

Guys don't use the hair dryer like he does. Obviously he shows his mistake but you should never use the hair dryer as close to the figure as he did... Melts plastic, ruins paint, warps easier etc. Hold the dryer about two inches away for great results

Highly recommend silicone shock oil for loosening tight or stiff joints. Designed for professional RC car shocks, it's safe on plastic or metal and way more effective than soap or hot water. Had great success on brittle nendroid joints, and fragile locked/squeaky joints for a Chogokin Fireball Charming Drossel.

Didn't think I'd learn anything here, but I honestly never saw the super glue / water technique.

Try clear nail polish in place of super glue and water.... the handed of ruining a figure goes way down and works just as well.

You can use the blow dryer to accelerate the pledge and as far as that stuck knee I believe running alcohol should fix that as well

I should try that Pledge Floor Care method with my old Play Arts Lightning's leg joints.

One issue I have with these is the pledge floor care. I used to work for a professional cleaning company your fine to use it but don't use it too much on one figure otherwise over time it can turn a milky white and depending on how much you put to the figure itself might show up. Overall not a bad idea but do be mindful of it.

Jesus I remember in the winter soldier/iron man 3 days of hasbro marvel legends, (2013-2015) they broke SO easily. Their joints were bendable and overall crap.

id like to ask everyone, what kind of success has everyone had with transplanting ball joint systems from one type of action figure to a complete different one... * what did you use * what did you try to fix * what type of complete custom fabrications have you tried and made certain things from scratch * how did you feel about using lego ball joints in place of standard action figure types --- i found that the old school ninja turtles (from the early 90's) are the hands down best ball joint systems for any figure ever made, even after 25 years, they still work like a champ. im about to try adopting that whole setup for all sorts of action figures.. ill let you know how it goes
