Do not open a tv without unplugging the power cord first and tv’s may also have a charge left in the capacitors that will shock you if you touch them. Some of these issues can be fixed relatively cheap. It doesn’t always work but if you can spend $30 to chance it. Some components are as little as $5. You may get lucky. 🍀 good luck.

What was the name of the board you replaced?

It was the "TCon Board" that was bad, which was the only board significant of the "Fault".

Yes. It was a dim lit blue screen with sound.
