I prefer to use a ewg hook rather then a worm hook aka offset hook. I feel with the extra wide gap hook I get a much better hookup ratio. But otherwise I rig the same way as you. My new favorite soft plastic toad is the Keitech noisy flapper frog, it provides twice the action and holds up against those more aggressive bass imo. Well tight lines 🎣

Hey thanks for the input! That sounds like a great idea and I don't know why it never crossed my mind. Old habits die hard I guess. Sounds like the way I rig my tubes. Do you fish it topwater or drag it on bottom ?

I usually work it in just under the surface maybe 2 to 4 inches.
