Guys dont worry. I was in the same situation. I for real started learning for the TOEFL one day before and I also started watching this Video. Guys fr, just learn the template. The one in the description of the Video is really nice. Most important, memorize the structure. If you have only one day like me, don’t bother learning the sentences by heart. For the writing part also look up some templates in the internet. The more you can memorize the easier it gets :D. The reading part is pretty random tbh. My tip here: DO NOT READ THE WHOLE TEXT BEFORE ANSWERING. The questions are asked chronologically, so search for the answer in the text, after reading the question. Another tip for the readin btw. Out of all tests i have seen, the answer never contains strong words like: never & always, so if you read those, the answer is most likely wrong. I scored 110 btw (29/29/28/24) with fr 1 day of preparation. Has nothing to do with your english skills, its just about the strategy. P.S. do not lose motivation. I submitted my writing early without proofreading and tbh it was really trash because I thought i performed so bad in the speaking part that it does not matter. Even if you have to start an sentence over again if you loose track, just keep going. The grading is pretty fair. I really hope that i could help you guys, because confidence is key and i wished that someone told me what i just told you. Its so much easier with the right mindset. Good luck.

Passing an exam is different from taking an exam. We shouldn't say "When i was passing my exam..." if we are referring to the time we were sitting working on the exam paper. Are you taking your exam on the 18th of February? I'm guessing you are now passing your time studying. Note that we use the verb "take" in the context of assessments (quiz, test, etc.). Best wishes!

Thank you Marina! I've watched all your TOEFL videos and scored 110! In short: reading and listening are pretty easy tbh, you won't have any problem scoring 28/29 even without preparing for that part. Writing is challenging, not because of the content but because of the time, I didn't practice at home (didn't have enough time eheh) and I finished writing both of the essays with just one minute left, so I couldn't read them again. Speaking was my lowest score 26/30, I'm pretty fluent but I was nervous, got stuck here and there and I changed a sentence while I was speaking... so yeah. Best tip is to learn your templates so you don't have to think about how to organise your speech. Anyway it's easier than you think and you don't need much time to prepare, so don't worry too much and good luck :)

Tips for speaking - did you just follow the templates, did you hesitate when speaking and so on? I have to take the test in two weeks, and I find the speaking part extremely difficult..
@SAIF-sf4yv
@SAIF-sf4yv 3 жыл бұрын
@@nikitavallentin5334 Don't study the templates on their own. You should study them while practicing with exam questions examples that you can find in google ore youtube. This way you won't stutter. I did this for two days and got 28/30 :). without doing this I got 24/30

I just got my TOEFL result and I want to thank you for this video. 2 years before I took 18 from speaking but with these templates, I raised it to 26, even I had many clear errors in spelling and grammar. I wish luck everyone on TOEFL.

@@soledadcoronel1017 Not really difficult but required continuous practice. I used to record my speaking sessions and evaluate them on my own mostly, which I think helped.

Yeeah, 🎉 scored 117 out of 120. Thanks to your videos and the ones of tstprep. I didn't expect that, because the test seemed so much more difficult then the test trials I took before. If you prepare well and you understand how the test works, you will make it! 😊

Hey Marina! I just want to thank you for this super useful tip!! I wrote down all the templates, memorized them, and used them in my test on the 21st of December! I just got the result today, and I got the total score of 103, with 23 on speaking. Not much, but it exceeded my expectation and requirement to apply a master programme! So thank you so so so soo much! I still have a long way to go for me to got in, but hey, it's one step closer :)) Wish me lots of luck!!!

Hi Marina thank you so much for your content about TOEFL on KZfaq!! I was soooo afraid of my TOEFL Test, especially because of the speaking part. The test was stressful and I was super nervous, but I scored 100 points (R-26, L-28, S-22, W-24), more than I even needed. So THANK YOU SO MUCH. I had never scored them without your templates!!!
