yes it looks beautiful but as an editor the first thing you learn is that you are supposed to make it more subtle. I feel at this point it is almost distracting.

This video is actually one I can recommend people new to Mac. Except for the part about agreeing with people on Safari not being customisable. I mean, it is. What do people want to do with it? You can change so many things. I like it the way it is, though I don't even change the background in it. I like it a little cleaner. But I also think it's not only the wallpaper that makes this windows stand out - it's mostly the drop shadow of the windows. And what a smooth transition in the end to recommending other content.

Thank you for your great feedback! Sure, Safari is customizable, and more than enough for me, but many Chrome users don't really think so. Yet, I love the lightweight and clean design and rock it without a wallpaper too. Cheers!

Great video, Vince! Are you going to make a video about Safari only? I've tried to abandon Firefox but I can't do it. The extensions on Safari are not up to par and it also seems more inconvenient and slower to me. Thank you!

Hey, thank you so much! :) I'll definitely make a video on Safari, great idea! And sure, Safari does offer less extensions, so if you need the ones you have installed on Firefox, then I understand you can't really switch. I just don't use many/found alternatives + love the clean and minimal look.

btw, owned a Mac 20 years ago and it got stolen so never got another one, always been using iPhone though and will never change. The only thing I don’t like about Safari is the lack of an option to add a custom search engine like Startpage. I don’t like the proposed workaround because I search by entering my terms in the address bar.

Thank you so much! There are a couple of apps that can add a date and time widget to your desktop, especially as we can now add widgets to the desktop natively. But the thumbnail is just a mockup.

The default Apple Calendar does show events for next days, and in my opinion looks even better... Just right-click and set the size to Medium or Large and it will show more events
