Damn, you must be one hell of a shot! 😄👍 I can hit rabbits out in the open all day long, but that's generally because they're a little thicker in width and don't stand very high off the ground, so the angle works perfectly on virtually any set up.. Squirrels are nimble little things! 😄

Great videos lot o good info. Quick tip. Arrow wraps. I use the arrow wrap to check brace hieght. I have mine set so back of bow is inline with end of wrap. That way every arrow becomes a possible brace hieght checker. Means i can adjust on fly in woods with out haveing to pull out bow square.

I do hold smaller rest bows similar to Howard Hill how he uses a flatbow type longbow in that the finger extends up a bit on the arrow when not shooting, however my Actionbow by Actionrod 8200 has a wider shooting rest then most longbows have but not as wide as a center shot recurve.

Your nock set point is way higher than what I typically set my nock point which is usually around 1/8th of an inch above center, but I notice that your wood shafts are pretty fat. I shoot 1916s at 35 lbs overdrawing to about 40 lbs with heads 170 to 200. Fly great bare shaft tuned. Lots of good info. Thanks for sharing.

I have a stringer in the stupid flat seatbelt style since I need it to string up a bow that is too strong for me by a tick. I do want a better stringer that is longer so it can string up both my bows not just my one piece recurve 54 inch 45 pound OLEENE Ariobow and not have pain in stringing up a bow. this is what I am thinking of www.shatterproofarchery.com/product-page/traditional-archery-bow-stinger not just me but getting one for my dad and one for my mom for Christmas to help with there stringing of bows they have or in dads case the 45 pound old all fiberglass Brown Bear from Bear archery will have on his birthday For me I might just modify my stringer. I also on my Fast Flight compliant bow, the recurve use an 18 strand since it was hard to find a string for the bow, I wanted a 16 strand but most of these 16 strand fast flight strings stopped to the 57 inch bows as 53 inch strings. I also use 2 brass knocks not for being lazy but to help in low light at begging and end of day as well as make it easy to tell where the top and bottom via the 2 knocks should be especially if the serving string is longer to where serving area is even or nearly even when a single knock is on the string since I go arrow above the knock. I do not like the arrows on the side of bow so for that I will use a back arrow style as I would like to use a side belt quiver but my size of 5 foot 2 inch prevents the belt side style from working all that well. I use at least for my Recurve and will with future bows all bows besides my fiberglass flatbow where I use a felt Air Hokey pad on the bottom and sides are fur rest bottoms, a Bear fur rest for these bows as the side plate is bigger in size then most hair rests and due to side being actual leather unlike the Wolf fur rests will rarely need replacing. for grip I got some fake vinyl leather looking tape to fix the old vinyl leather on the Longbow, the recurve fits the hand so well a grip is not needed. Sorry for the long post but this is my set up for now.

I stoped using bass nock points because due to my anchor point, they would always cut my lip. I got tied of looking like i had herpes after a day of stumping.
