Great video and great shooting. I started out PF shooting watching Pfshooter Dgui on KZfaq. That dude is a magician (no offense) with a PFS. He has a video on DYI pickle fork making. I like bands and tubes too. I’m a tweeker however. More of a challenge than a regular slingshot? Maybe.
@TennesseeSlanginАй бұрын
That guy is epic I've watched all of his videos! Yes it is a little more challenging than a regular slingshot and that's why I enjoy it so much! Thanks for watching!

@@TennesseeSlangin I have a Flippin’ Pickle and made a few using Dgui pattern from 1/2” baltic birch. Good stuff!!

I've watched all of DGUI videos. He really got me back into slingshots in 2014. Best instinctive slingshot shooter on youtube I know

Welp I don’t know why this came across my feed today. But I learned something new for sure!! Can’t say I EVER knew pickle forks existed. Let alone a tweaked “sling shot” called a Pickle Fork Shooter.

They are tons of fun and a good challenge! Thanks for watching!

Hi Ethan that was a great vid mate I have just made a pickle fork top to fit to my “ universal” hammer job and surprised how nice it shoots and quite safe if I remember to flick / move the frame slightly using leads early days for me though! Thanks again👊🏼👍

That is a really cool design you have with the interchangeable heads Uncle Dean. Thanks for watching!

@@TennesseeSlangin how many rounds of ammo did you take to ecst? How much did you go through
@TennesseeSlanginАй бұрын
1500 rounds is really about all you need for ecst there is some ammo at the practice range but it's usually rusty.

Wear eye protection. One time my surgerical band broke and whaled me In the eye knocked me to the ground. Learned real fast

I can't hit anything with safety glasses but I do try to be very careful cause you only got 2 eyes!

I call B.S. 😂 You make this look way too easy! My biggest issue at this point with pfs is that the frame width is so small that I can't aim off the tips without putting the target like an inch or two above the fame tip.
@TennesseeSlanginАй бұрын
Coinworker you can brother I can shoot a 60mm pfs like an 80 I know a little trick I'll have to teach ya brother!

When you attach your bands do you flip the right or left band over....i did the right fork just wondered if it made any difference right or left

great tutorial Ethan.........still haven't seriously gave PFS's a fair chance I guess, even though I have several in my collection. ( SLING-N-SHOT on the forums ) I'm mostly a natty builder.

@@TennesseeSlangin thanks brother, appreciate that, love your work as well. How and where did you come by my natties if I may ask.....from Jordan maybe ? My building has come to a halt pretty much as of late due to a seriously messed up right elbow.....no idea what's wrong with it, but can't hardly pick up my iphone w/out serious pain, and no grip whatsoever.

I've been interested in single banded stick shooters lately and built a few, but they seem to be like playing with venomous snakes.. I put them down for a while but after watching some pfs demos it seems like sticks and pfs's need the same twist and or speedbump technique or you shoot your frame or hand and ive done both... A few times, actually my last stick shot the marble never came out the pouch till it was on the way back and I BLASTED myself in the hip... I legit shot myself and it ain't no pony ride
@TennesseeSlanginАй бұрын
It's not fun to shoot yourself. A stick shooter is the same concept as a pfs I been playing around with one a little it's fun
