I am sharing with you this is the most quick easy and beautiful butterfly hair bow from felt fabric. I made this and sale for fundraising and very successful .. With this butterfly hair bow style you don't need to spend too much money on materials and best of all less sewing ( No sewing machine needed)

How sweet. My neighbour loves butterflies. She is 77 so doesnt wear hair clips. I am going to make and put onto a card for her and make one to put on her present 🎁can add little anntenna thanks

This would be a really fun project for kids to make! Even if they have trouble with the hand sewing, it would be easy to make them and then let them decorate with fabric paint and gluing beads and sequins. I wear hats a lot, especially in Winter because my hair is very thin and my head gets cold (thanks menopause!). I think I'll make some of these and glue pins to the back so I can have different colors to pin to the hat bands and coordinate with outfits. I've made lots of the fabric origami butterflies out of some fancy high-end decorator fabric swatches I found cheap at a thrift store and beads from my big stash from when I used to make jewelry. I carry a few in my purse and when I meet mom's with little girls when I'm out shopping, I ask them if it would be okay if I give one to their daughters or granddaughters since I have neither. So far, everyone has liked them! When I found that big bag of swatches I was so excited because they are gorgeous fabrics, no two alike. I had no idea what I'd make with them since most are 8" squares or less, I just knew I'd be happier if they came home with me! lol I have been using them in several of your projects because they often use small amounts of fabric. They are color coordinated, so they're perfect for projects that use more than one color of fabric.

You are so sweet and kind,, I am sure people would love to receive handmade items from you.. you just like a real grandma out there for the little girls. In the last 6 years, All the items I made , I donated to the school, but the school was so bad that they don't really appreciate what I did, I only care about the kids and that keep me making things to donate.. I paid a Lion Dance group to dance at the school to share my New Year and also my culture, I tell you None of the parents know,, because the school never mentioned in the newsletter or even a words of Thank You,, I am glad my kids are now moving up to middle school , they are much nicer and more professional than the past school Love you Vivian

I didn't know that either! I like that music too. Music often gives me mental pictures, and this music makes me think of koi fish swimming in a pond in a beautiful garden. It would be perfect for meditation.

I’m impressed! I didn’t expect to look as cute as it does especially bring so basic to make. I wonder how fabric that would have heat and bond in between two pieces would work? Great job Vivian! Love to you and your family! Lisa

Lisa. If you use fabric. Cut 2 circles and 2 square. After you sew 2 circles and 2 squares. Inside out and follow exactly the same way as I showed in the video. No need to add heat n bond tape or interfacing 2 layers of fabric will be strong enough to hold the bow Love you Vivian

I tried this but I think my felt is to thick or something. Are there a difference in felt or is it all the same ?

Sheila, yes there’s a softer type they usually sell by individual sheet. I have the one came from the package with multiple sheets, that is harder and can fold) it’s 2 types Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any more questions Please take care Sheila Vivian

@@TheTwinsDay I wonder if other non-woven fabric would work, like a heavy cotton knit, maybe sprayed with starch, or putting Fray-Check on the cut edges? I have some printed cotton knit with tiny flowers and paisley designs I might try using.
