can the weather spare some sun haha..?
this week's vlog i'm taking care of all the things i've put off. and putting new things off in the process, but those are minor details! my plants are happier at the very least :)
i went to the twice concert over the weekend and had an amazing time (minus the shoes, but again, minor details!) forced myself to go out and touch grass too lol. i'm, just out here trying my best, living life, cooking and eating good...

You remind me so much of me when I was living alone as a student. Such peaceful days. I also made myself pretty, wore a dress and went to get boba and sit with the ducks in the park. All alone and happy. And I am so glad, you show how nice it is living alone. Going on a concert or to the park. Having your own pace. I miss that time... cause when you live with someone, you don't feel that free anymore. Even if it is because of you and not your partner.

Honestly, I do feel lonely quite often because I live in a completely different country away from my family and friends. Sure, I have my husband and his family to interact with, but I do still get lonely. I 100% agreed with making sure you keep in contact, it really helps!!! ❤❤❤❤(And bento~! Another great vlog! 💕)

Bento! I realized at one point in life that you shouldn't have to miss out on things you want to do even if it means doing it by yourself. that point on, I got comfortable being by myself doing things like going to concerts. It's very liberating. Keep up the awesome videos ♥️

I love living alone, but sometimes I do feel lonely and it is a difficult balance to find. The hardest thing for me is to understand what I want and to accept that reaching out to people might feel scary but it's okay and we all need company from time to time. Also, bento ❤ Love your videos :)

annika, this is so weird, but u asked the other day on insta what we wanted to see in future videos, and I really wanted to ask how you live by yourself without feeling lonely. as a 24 year old (in a country where you only move out by like 28-30) who has been considering moving out, I feel very attached to my family and my cat, so it’s been a difficult topic for me to think about. but that day I really wanted to ask about your experience!! I ended up not asking because I didn’t know if that was a happy or sad topic for you, but I guess I just wanted to thank u for bringing your perspective on this!! your videos absolutely make my day and the effort you put into editing is really appreciated 🤍 keep being you ✨

I love my alone time! I work as a nurse and being an introvert and an empath I live for my alone and recharge time. Definitely good to have hobbies and journals. Like you say Annika sometimes its hard to shut your brain off, but finding activities you can do on your own definitely is healthy!

I never been this early on any Annika's vlog but oh man, I needed a vlog of yours to make my week. You're such an inspiration and never really been invested in any KZfaqr except you! watching you be so comfortable in your life alone has made me remember just how independent i used to be before i had roommates. growing up i loved spending my time alone and didnt usually feel too lonely unless i thought too hard about it or started comparing my life to other people, but if i really think about it, being around people all the time is genuinely so exhausting to me and i do much better when i'm just seeing people intentionally. as always, your videos are so cozy and comforting. i've loved watching your channel/shop/self growth in the time i've been watching. you are such an inspiring person while also reminding us not to take things too seriously. thank you for all that you do and i cant wait for the shop update!!
