This was so, so good. I really loved the message at the end; failing a lot is okay, I would even argue that if you don’t fail you’re not learning enough to get to success. Mad respect, this is really inspiring for people who want to grow on KZfaq, like myself ✌️

The cubing community is very lucky to have people like you, Dylan, alongside some other great KZfaq Cubers as well! I remember watching your channel grow from 10K subs to where it is today, and obviously, it's been splendid. Your How-to videos are possibly everyone's favourite, because every cuber does want to be faster, and your resources are one of the best! You've truly been a motivation to everyone, and I am lucky to be a part of it too! Apart from cubing, you've also inspired me to make videos with my phone! Remember that day when you replied me how you make your videos? The moment I heard you made it with your phone, I was blown away completely. Even when I started my KZfaq channel, my videos were seriously the worst you can ever find till date, but now, it's a whole lot better than before! So along with you, I can easily say that anybody who wants to start a YT channel and gives reasons that they don't have expensive gears, it's just that they aren't exposed to such wonderful people like you, who can ignite a fire within them to do the best they can! Not everything was "luck" Dylan, your tutorials are honestly the best out there by quite a lot. I got from +3 mins to sub-15 just by watching your tutorials, and whenever a friend of mine wants to get into cubing, your channel is what I ALWAYS recommend. You were successful at KZfaq not by luck, but because you deserved it.

I know your channel for about 2 months and now I have a clear opinion about you : I think YOU ARE THE BEST YOUCUBER EVER because your channel is more than complete : Your videos are best explained and of a high quality ! In addition, you own a very complete website too ; there are many useful informations and links in the description. Example : I spent hours to try to learn the 3x3 blindfolded in French, but yesterday I came on your channel and 20 minutes later I already knew how to do it at 75%. I'm not saying that the others youcubers are bad, in the contrary there are many good youcubers like Cubastic, CubingEncoded, etc... But thanks to you I progressed very quickly! It's great to hear your story, and as a UBC grad myself many years ago, it's nostalgic to see all those familiar sites. I'm a slow learner when it comes to cubing, but I'm persistent. I still remember me watching your "how to solve a cube" tutorial... That video was the first vid I saw from your channel.. Then I saw that you had plenty other vids to get faster, cube unboxings, critiques etc.. I don't know if I would even cube if I wouldn't have seen your channel coz there was no other better tutorial than yours.. Eventhough I did not sub to you at the early stage.. J-Perm, I watched your KZfaq video on how to solve the 3 by 3, and I almost solved it but one of the corner pieces for the final step is flipped. The entire cube is solved besides that one corner for the final step. what went wrong?

Just flip it manually. You must have done it accidentaly before and now your cube is unsolveable with normal moves (it happens all the time tbh)

There's some wrong algorithms in your f2l pdf An algorithm is wrong in your pdf Section 2b- Corner is in the wrong slot. under CORNER IN THE RIGHT SLOT The sixth algorithm U (R U R') y' (R U R') It will be U' (R U R') y' (R U R') And second Section 2b Corner in the back slot The fifth algorithm It's given- (R U' R') U (L U L') It will be- (R U R') U (L U L') Hope it helps others ☺
