I'm Brazilian, to watch this video I set the speed to 0.5x. I watched practicing my speech. I repeated everything she said. I repeated it several times. It literally took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to watch this 16 minute video. I definitely feel better than when I started. It was the first time I did this type of exercise. I really needed to train my speech and now I'm going to use marina's videos and others that I find, using this method, to train and learn English. Thank you Marina for the video

It's exactly method that I use to learn English by myself. Yeah.. I know I make a lots of mistakes yet, but the most important for me is that I can understand about 60/70% of the video without captions. Keep going! 👊🏼📚

Little grammar slips are fine in person, but not when you have over 8m subscribers who soak these little slips up to use in daily speech. To teach any language that’s not your mother tongue, you gotta at least have a language degree, ideally with translation component. And as far as i know this girl has none. And it shows

This video made me cry. The clips of people all over the world learning English were so precious. You are doing such a beautiful thing on this channel, Marina. I am a native English speaker, learning Russian and Korean right now. You are certainly right that native speakers make mistakes all the time. But all the non-native English learners are adding so much to the language!! It will continue to change and evolve as more people speak it, and all the accents are so wonderful. LOVE LOVE LOVE your content, it helped me a lot to leverage my English skills. I´m from Argentina and thanks to watching your videos often I not only improved my fluency but also landed a GREAT job in an American laboratory in The Netherland where I´m currently based. And of course, I have a lot of insecurities, but as you also said no one is perfect, and hey they hired me because of my knowledge and the plus is that I can also share it in a language that is not my mother tongue, so I will say that is pretty cool! Some years ago, I learned a very special advice in one of her videos , that if I wanted to improve my English then I had to create a social media totally in English, to interact with people, to record myself speaking, building my own network even making mistakes. I realized long time ago, that making mistakes is part of the learning process and completely normal. Even natives make mistakes just like us in our native language. To be honest, I am so proud of myself that I am fluent in English. Of course, no one is perfect, not even me, but practice makes it perfect. ☺️ I love English as my native language, and I couldn't imagine my life without English maybe other people can, but not me. I speak English every day and I have a dream to move to the UK and I also want to visit the U.S. Likewise, I am learning Spanish, and I already know a lot of words. ( Hablo Español pero quiero mejorar mis conocimiento porque esto es muy importante para mi. La única razón por la que decidí aprender Español es un idioma muy hermoso y sabes que muchas personas hablan Español tan bien como Inglés. When I see my progress in English, I always remember those who have been helping me and still help me to improve on it. You are a very motivational person. I have no words to explain your contributions in my life. When I started seeing your videos before 2 years, I just began practicing English. Most people asked me questions in English but I was not able to answer them. And today I have just watched this video, can say confidently that I can speak English fluenty. Thank you so much Marina. thank you so much marina, i found your channel in past year and i totally realized that my english ability particularly at speaking become better in advance. when i was grade 9 i thought english isn't crucial as i guess i wasn't sure could I go abroad or not lol, then at grade 10 i realized people around me they capable speaking english properly. afterwards, i took up to learn english from zero knowledge. now, i'm so grateful that i can get what people talk about in english even sometimes i thought i have no progress which is stuck at my english. nevertheless i'm still trying my best to improve my english especially grammar. love u ❤

I'm a language teacher for threw years now. I've teached mostly English but also other languages I know. I would love to have a channel like yours where I can reach thousands of people and make them feel better about their communication skills. I've learned English on my own and sadly I haven't had the opportunity to visit any English speaking country yet. I hope that will motivate my students wherever they might be. Your channel is super inspiring and I have lots of respect for people who not only learn but are able to teach that knowledge to others.
