Adding that some jobs will have a problem with this, yes even a desk job. I had to tell my manager that i need both earbuds in to block things out and people can come up to my desk to get my attention if they really need it. If it doesn't stick, I will be putting in an accomodation request because the environment in general is really abalist and makes working with a nurodivergent brain unnecessarily difficult. If they want me to do my job well, i need to focus.
