About me:
My name is Sarah, I'm a junior doctor in the NHS. I am a locum doctor in a busy Emergency Department in a trauma centre and I run an aesthetics business privately. I have far too many clothes for someone who lives in scrubs and workout gear 90% of the time and I occasionally show some of my outfit ideas on this channel.
Hobbies include: talking to people, dogs and cameras.

Quick summary of ideas: 1. Set reminders for recurring tasks (birthdays, bills to pay, subscriptions etc.) 2. Buy in bulk or set up recurring orders for things you use often. 3. Don't rely on your brain to remember everything - write it down. 4. Do a brain dump of everything on your mind, then categorise it into lists. 5. Regular reviews / look-aheads. Plan your week and month in advance. 6. Have a place for everything and put it there. 7. Prep ahead for repeated activities - e.g. meals, outfits, workouts. 8. Reduce decision fatigue - batch your decisions (e.g. what meals to make, workouts to do) 9. Do a 10-minute tidy-up before bed. 10. Plan your day the night before. 11. Always keep water and snacks to hand. 12. Keep a box for essentials to go in your bag, if you switch bags often. 13. Plan to be early - account for potential delays. 14. Keep multiple shopping lists - one for each shop that you regularly visit. Great video, there were some really useful tips in here! There are definitely some areas here I can work on.

I realized something a few days ago. I was reading a list of symptoms for autism, and I have almost all of them. I'm dyslexic, easily angered, unable to keep focused. I have trouble making eye contact and I don't like to be touched. But the relevant one here is that I am totally disorganized. I now understand 58 years of failure. I wish (even at this late date) that there was some way I could be organized.

Despite my lack of organisation number 13 is top of my list. I’m anal as hell about lateness it’s something we were taught in year 4 be on time. I’m always early because 1) panicking about being late causes anxiety which in turn exacerbates my asthma and instead of going to where I was going I end up in an ambulance and then at A&E feeling moody. 2) I like to get places so I can get a cup of tea sorted and use the toilet ie my hospital has only 2 toilets and usually there’s a queue 8+ it takes about 10 minutes so I plan to be 45 minutes early - it can take 20 minutes to get into the car park then 10-15 minutes for the loo and the Costa coffee queue then 10 minutes to work out where I’m going Same for all appointments I like to be outside and ready 10 minutes at the minimum before hand or I get stressed and can’t breathe rushing That’s the only one on this list I do other than hello fresh meal prep

The video is so beautiful and useful. However, I always prefer to be super chaotic rather than super organized 🤣🤣🤣. Chaos is such a unique spice that you can add to your life, I can't enjoy my life with the element of chaos.

I need a Sarah to delegate to. A Sarah to sort my shit out (I can’t say it nicer I have given up on drowning I’ve fat surpassed that stage haha I need to employ a cleaner after the pandemic to come do the jobs I find exacerbate my already severe asthma without the housework and make me exhausted or worse in hospital Hahaha So much to do chronic health condition get meds it isn’t at the pharmacy doctors surgery doesn’t deal with phone calls prescription enquiries so have to go in 25 minute drive there stand outside for 20 minutes queuing then have to speak then lady answers phone by the time I’m driving home it’s taken me an hour and it’s multiple times a month even though I have my meds on a batch it’s wrong and instead of them just fixing the batch I have to go have a moan which makes me feel terrible but the difference between ciclesonide and sleeping pills is quite a huge jump and every month it’s sleeping pills not an inhaler. Then there’s working whilst also studying to apply to medicine (if I’m ever well enough to do) now home teaching my niece via zoom because I know more than any of my family because I have my exams under my belt. Then housework when you can’t breathe take 4 times as long yesterday it took me 2 hours to vacuum 3 rooms I have not sorted my wardrobe in about 18 months
