So far I've been taking finasteride for almost 5 months na. Hindi naman Ako nagka problema dun sa 3rd concern and yes kung nag take nalang Ako nito before kesa kung ano Anong gamot na over the counter ung binili ko nakatipid pa sana Ako

@@Jonathan-gy5hk I'm not really sure Po kung ung shedding is from the finasteride or Minoxidil na inaapply ko kasi Sabi ng Derma ko mag shedding Ang hair mo when you start using Minoxidil, and super nag dry ung scalp ko kaya naging once a day nalang pag gamit ko.

You're not alone. This hits me really hard. As someone who suffered from male pattern baldness, I took the issue for granted. When I noticed it first, I thought I was okay since both my father and brother are already bald, but dang, when people mocked and bullied me dun na ako nahirapan nasabihan na kapatid ko ba daw sila Prince Willian at Harris, papa ko ba daw Pope at wag daw kc mag papasubunot sa ulo at anu anu pa lahat tiniis ko everyday I wore cap to hide my head so people be kind! Finally! I have been waiting for a local vlogger whom i can relate to. Although i have to admit i may need a second or third opinion from a different doctor as the dermatologist i went to the last told me bluntly that it’s a hopeless case for me and then pitched me to formulate a minoxidil and finasteride combo topical for 3500 php?! 😱 lalo ako nanlumo to have heard the price..hahaha

I experienced the same but different spot of my hair. I am using minoxidil for the past years but so I regularly. This year i am using it regularly for 2 months now. Thank God that I don't have a high hairline. I'm on my journey in making my hair long. Mostly of the product that works for me, biotin shampoo. For my eyebrows, I use minoxodil. Pero still consult your derma for an expert advice.

Thanks so for this! It was very helpful. I purchased hair treatment pills in the U.S and found out about the decreased libido side effect before I consumed it, so I didn't end up taking it. lol I was super scared and didn't want that to happen to me ahaha I'm still kind of scared, but makes me feel better that it didn't affect you.

been taking finasteride for 5months (89pesos per tablet sa mercury), minoxidil yung regrow brand(5% 1100 pesos, 6% 1600) medyo mahal talaga. Kaya para makatipid i take half ng finasteride daily, yung regrow brand na minox sa gabi lang, then other cheap brand na minoxidil sa morning. as for the side effects, awa ng dyos tumitigas pa naman. Thank you for this vlog, a big help talaga at alam ko na I'm on the right track in treating my hair loss. Nag try din ako ng collagen+biotin kaya lang dumami acne ko, kaya di ko na tinuloy.

My friend had two small bald spots and she mixed 1/4 cup organic coconut oil, 1/4 cup castor oil, and 8 drops Rosemary essential oil. She has been applying it to the scalp after taking a shower and now she has hair growth where she had the bald spots. In case anyone wants to try this.

Minoxidil is good kung maaagapan kaagad ung early signs of recession.. Been using minoxidil for 7 years, since napansin ko ung temple region receded quickly due to stress sa job. Un nga lang hindi ko na naibalik ung original hairline. 1 bottle is enough for 2 yeàrs sa akin para pang maintainance.

Currently using Serioxyl. So far na notice ko nagkaka volume talaga hair ko. May tumutubo baby hair which I noticed after 10 weeks. Nakakafrustrate din first few weeks kasi feel ko walang effect. But i think the result is not really comparable to minoxidil + finasteride or hair transplant. I'll consider those meds or procedures if na feel ko grabe ba yung hair fall.

2 years on fin, switched to Dutasteride.. Now in my 5th month on dut. Hair is back, full like a forest. I dont use minox.. effectivity fades after sometime in minox. My little soldier still salutes by the way 😅

Agree ako with the combined use of Minoxidil and Finasteride as prescribed by my Dermatologist as well. Consistency is the key talaga kasi when you stop for a long period of time, back to zero talaga.. so sayang. Right now, I'm using Minoxidil, Finasteride + Derma roller.. and it really helps. I tried PRP for 6-8 sessions ata, effective din pero mahal kasi talaga.. like 40-50k ung sakin. Another treatment is ung red/blue LED light therapy, I also tried that treatment, may nakita akong improvement pero mas mahal siya, and for me mas okay si PRP. But again, happy ako now sa Minoxidil, Finasteride and Derma roller treatment na ginagawa ko, mas malaki ung naging improvement as compared to PRP and Red/Blue LED Light.. but you really have to be consistent. ☺

i take 1 mg finasteride 3 times a week only. and it works for me, i follow these two australian dermatologists here in youtube i forgot their names, but basically one of them is one of the derma who created minoxidil from the 90s, so they are really familiar and professional about this topic.

Happy to have given hope ❤ by the time I was taking finasteride, tapos na ako with isotret eh. But I think derms may allow kasi I was looking to do isotret end of last year and wala naman winarn sakin derm ko na bawal sabay. Di nga lang napush isotret kasi my acne suddenly got better on just topical bp + tret haha. Would only worry if planning to conceive. :) But definitely continue to discuss w/ ur derm!

nagtry ko ng minoxidil at kung ano2x wla din masyado effect, nagtry din ako ng microneedling at prp so far may tumutubo naman. nagpacheckup ako to take finsasteride and plan ko isabay sa microneedling and prp. wait ko after 3 months ano effect.

Im not taking finasteride, but minoxidil helps me a lot. 6mos narin ako haha mejo mahaba na baby hair at grabe din ang hairloss nung una. Try nyo Dr organic aloe vera shampoo, na stop nya hairloss ko pero napakamahal nga lang 275 ml around 1k peso haha

Started my PRP treatment last April 20, and ni-resetahan din ako ng doctor ko ng Minoxidil and Finasteride which i take daily. And yung nga wala naman daw specific na shampoo na dapat gamitin, pero pwede naman daw ako mag try ng herbal shampoo's. Sana maging effective sakin huhu 🤞🏼🥹

My hair started thinning due to stress, stress from college to be exact. I consulted with a derma, and I was given a list of products to be used, isa na dito is yung minoxidl, which I am still skeptical to use since andami kong nabasang side effects huhu. I hope naman na due to stress lang talaga tong issue ko, I don't see genetics naman as the root, since maganda pa hairline ng parents ko and my siblings.

What's nice about these medications (esp minoxidil) is you can always stop if you ever get side effects. Lalo na sa minox ang daming mostly slight irritation lang na nawawala rin naman. And at least masasabi mo rin na you tried 😊 Just food for thought! Good luck on your journey!

Hi Jan, i have been using Minoxidil that I bought online for 7 months now. I went to a dermatologist last year coz i had severe hair loss and after a while nagkaroon ako ng "poklat" . Dermatologist mentioned something abt alopecia. She prescribed Minoxidil. After a month or 2, nakita ko n ang result. Kumapal n ang hair ko now and sinabayan ko ng Biotin na napansin ko n nawala ang hair loss . 😊

I think PRP ang latest solution sa hairloss/hairfall around 8k~15k php per session depende kung bago palang naglalagas isang sessin lang. Not sure sa details pero sana makagawa kayo vlog about it.

Actually mukhang the latest solution is exosomes while PRP is more yung mas matagal na! Thinking baka maganda icompare yung dalawa like prod and cons. Thanks for the suggestion!
