Hello Friends! Welcome back to another video! Some of you requested a hair styling video and I decided to share all of my tips and tricks! I have very fine hair. I’ve had fine hair all my life but as I’ve gotten older it’s also gotten a bit thinner. It can be tough trying to find styles that make you look and feel your best but I think I have it down pat now. @@MeToyaMonroeDo u have a relaxer? Either way, I'd recommend a light weight heat protectant hair serum. Like u, I have fine hair and anything to save our follicles as we get older, the better.😊

@@QueenMLA28 Thank you beautiful! I’ve used ogx shampoo and conditioner in the past but never their heat protectant. I’ll have to try! My hair is natural and I’ve been wearing it natural a little more in this heat in between filming. Thats always another great idea for fine hair too! ❤️

What a beautiful and calm soul you are! I happened to stumble upon this video because now that I am post menopausal at 60, my hair density has drastically changed and become even more fine. Your hair looks remarkable even without the hair clips! I have wrapped my hair for years but recently started pincurling my hair and even though it is smoke and mirrors, my hair does look thicker!! Thank you for teaching and showing us to embrace our natural beauty! ❤

Hellooo there beautiful!! Thank you soooo much!! I’m so happy you found me! And yes well I think I’m experiencing it early as my hair density is getting more fine even at 42. And thank you sooo much! I just wish it was as thick as it used to be but I’m learning to embrace myself at all stages of life. 🙏🏽❤️ It could always be worse. I think pincurling is great! Thats a great way to make your hair fuller too! I also if possible wear my hair natural to make it look fuller too. Even when I add some little curls to it, it helps. And you are sooo welcome! Yesss same! I think it’s the changing hormones but who knows. I’ve had all sorts of tests and evaluations done but nothing points to the cause so I suspect it just happens to some of us as we age.

Hi there beautiful! ❤️ Wow I honestly almost tear up reading things like this because it’s been a hard change for me. I’m the same. I’ve lost a lot of the even small density I once had years ago. It’s tough to see this transition but one thing I will always do is find a way to help myself feel and look as natural as possible. The clip ins were my saving grace and they don’t stay in all the time nor are they harsh on my strands. Pull them out sis and let’s take on the days together! 🙏🏽🫶🏽🥰❤️ We got this! Aww you’re too kind, thank you soo much beautiful! 🙏🏽❤️ And yess! So my foundation love is L’Oréal True Match. I know it’s drug store foundation but honestly it gives me a light coverage that I love and I have used it for yearrrrs. I’ll be doing an updated makeup routine soon although not much has changed. I’m a very light natural makeup lover. Less is more in my book especially for every day. ❤️

Yes it will work on relaxed hair as well. I understand with the edge control which is why I only use a little but the wax stick is great and it doesn’t have to be this brand either. If you try it, let me know! ❤️

I love the video! I'm going to try all your products and spend some time figuring it out. I have totally different hair texture but I think I can get good results. I'm just tired of spending too much money on my thin hair putting in the extensions and you gave me incentive to try it myself.🤞

Thank you soooo much beautiful and yessss!! Trust me, you can do it!! Annnd save money! I understand being a stylist and doing extensions is a business but to be honest it can just get sooo expensive especially to keep it up. Thats initially why I decided to try something myself. This process works perfect for me to have a nice look daily and like I said it’s so easy to pop them out at night so I’m not damaging my fine/thin hair. I use Garnier Olia Permanent Color in Dark Brown just on my grays as they grow in and it’s been working well for me. I do touch up about every three weeks. Hi there beautiful!! And no problem at all! 🥰❤️ So actually no I don’t wrap it anymore but I used to. So fun fact, I hate sleeping with anything on my head. I prefer a silk pillowcase instead. And also with fine and thinning hair I found wrapping it just made it flatter quicker. I will sometimes pin curl but mostly I do a loose top pony in a satin scrunchie. I’ll definitely film a nighttime routine! 🥰❤️🫶🏽

Hey twin heeey! Now my first thought was that I can’t use this but I’m going to watch and workout to support but then thought of my mini me! That blow dryer will be so good for straightening her hair!! I let someone else wash it but I straighten it because the lady just can’t straighten good! Ok let me keep watching 🖤

The flat iron is good and affordable too! I use these same items when I press Jordans hair as well and it’s perfect because it doesn’t damage her hair. Thanks for the support as always! ❤️🥰🙏🏽

I was saying… Yes, this would be the one and only area that we have to be different in!😂😝 and that’s OK! Lol but I absolutely love your hair and love how it turned out so stinking cute! Those clippings blend in beautifully and I would’ve never freaking known and I was talking to you on the TV 😂 saying girl I wish I had known about those when I had my straight hair maybe I wouldn’t have had that experience with that lady, pulling my hair out with that sew in in the first place! They weren’t making those clip ins back then though 😂😂look at me sounding old lol. I love that they have come out with those so people can have safer options for having extensions in because what happened with my hair should’ve never happened. Thank you for showing your tools. I will definitely be going out and getting that flat iron as well as the wax stick the edge wax, the flat iron all of that! Your hair came out straighter without you even intentionally trying to straighten it to the gods, than some peoples hair turns out coming straight from the salon. My mini me always has the flyways when I get done straightening her hair so we definitely need that wax stick! How long would you say the wax edge control works (holds) for you?

Sooo much of my hair came out after it I was devastated. It’s honestly why I tend to do my own hair and had to come up with my own solutions because I’m the only one gentle enough on my hair not to pull and tug or put lots of tension on my strands. The clip ins were a great option for me! Glad you would’ve never known! Haha 🥰 That’s my goal is to keep it natural! And yess the wax stick is perrrrfect for fly aways! I think Catie will like it. Hey there beautiful!! Thank you sooo much! And nopey, no relaxer at all. My hair has turned this reddish brown color from me coloring my gray baby hairs as I like to call them haha! I use the 4.0 dark brown color by Garnier Olia Brilliant Color. I know we shouldn’t use box color but it’s worked great for me for years. And yesss I love a good DIY haha! Thank you sooo much! 🙏🏽 And yes thankfully it’s been thinning all over and not in one certain area but it’s definitely thinner and I can see through the strands more than I did 5 years ago. It’s always however been very fine. I’ve never had super thick and high density hair. I’m just grateful I’m able to maintain the hair I still have. ❤️🙏🏽

Thank you so much beautiful!! 🥰❤️ I use TRESemme’ Rich Moisture + Hyaluronic Plex Shampoo and Conditioner. It’s affordable and my hair has seemed to like it for years as I’ve used the brand forever. I’ve tried others but always seem to go back to this one.

Thanks so much and I do occasionally but it’s usually a small amount. I use the same brand of the hair polisher I mentioned I’d use in the video. It’s called IC Fantasia Hair Protector. Because I also don’t hard press or hard blow dry (like say the Dominicans would), I’ve found my natural hair texture isn’t too damaged. I’ll have to do a natural hair styling video soon too! I don’t wear my curls often but it’s another way to help manage fine and thinning hair too! ❤️

Whewwwww keep a hair clip nearby cuz Issa no lol 😂. No but I do have a hard time especially behind natural. I do use hair spray to help but it doesn’t help my roots where I usually sweat. I’m testing out some strategies so I’ll keep y’all posted when I find one that works.
