I really thought I was the only one with an abnormal amount of hair, what a relief! So thank you for the tips! My hair literally looks fried every time I take a shower, but it’s healthy and I have no split ends at all! What I hate about my thick, coarse, wavy hair is that it manages to look like hot wheels tracks/ramps at the ends and it goes in every direction 😤

I have exactly same hair!! I used to flat iron it too, but it's not possible with a baby. One thing I realized is that if I make a bun in damp hair, i get nice waves in the morning. So you can try some heatless overnight curls, but you will have to make multiple sections just like four ironing. Also with our hair it is best not to brush it. The more you brush the frizzier it gets. Just use a wide tooth comb.
@natalier14764 жыл бұрын
my hair is exactly the same! I want to try to find a way to style it without heat as well. however, styling with a straightener is the only way that gives me confidence but I hate how much hair I lose when I straighten/ style with heat. Also, I hate when KZfaqrs complain their hair is "frizzy" when its just wavy. your video is way more realistic so thank you!!!

@daisilu34544 жыл бұрын
Because you seem to have the same hair type as me, some advice🌻 heat does not exactly damage the hair but it makes it prone to drying it out more, and for this kind of frizz u dont want more dryness! You can easily straighten/style your hair this same way with less damage by first, wetting your hair, conditioning, adding a dime size amount of conditioner to your ends (i recommend Garnier Fructis Unmanagable for Frizz) throw up in a towel for 10 minutes to soak up the water+conditioner, brushing, then using a medium heat/cool blow dryer and round brush to Brazilian blowout the locks straight. THEN straightening with a straightener if you have to. The reason this damages less is because if the hair soaks up the conditioner and water, it will be MUCH less frizzy+dry and retain the style better. 💜

One tip I’ve always found works for me, my hair is very similar to yours but quite long to, if you want to wear you hair more naturally without having to straighten all the time it control the frizz. I put my hair in a plait/braid over night after brushing it out, then in the morning I just brush out anything in needs as little as possible and it just seems to control the frizz a little bit and keeps strands together rather than become a mess. Sometimes if I have my hair down it gets bigger and bigger and I’ll stick it in a plait for half an hour and it calms it down!

I haven’t watched any updated video and this is the first one I’ve seen. I have similar hair and what’s worked for me is 1) stop using heat 2) retrain your hair by doing my holy grail… double rope braids from the top. It’s saved my hair. Made it healthy and now I can comfortably say… we have wavy hair.

I recently invested in a Revlon styler (blow dry hairbrush?) And it is a game changer if you're looking to straighten your hair !! I highly recommend it ❤️❤️

Love, you should really try the curly girl method. You don’t have to follow the product ingredients, but the rest I’d recommend. My hair used to be exactly like that but now I have beautiful little ringlets all over with proper maintenance. :)

Finally a video on my hair type!!!! I hate constantly putting it in a messy bun but I hate using heat tools especially in the summer but heat tools are the only frickin way to style it 💀

OH MY GOSH!!! I FINALLY FOUND SOMEOME WITH NATURAL HAIR THATS LIKE MINE! nobody understands my hair grows this way as well and it sucks. i loved your video and im gonna try those curls next.... this very moment i have a heatless curl headband in, look it up (u said u were looking for heatless options)
@flosluna7 ай бұрын
💜 I love heatless curls !! They are my go to these days, the Revlon blowout dryer brush is another life saver for me ☺️ I don't style my hair much like this anymore but I promise you're not alone with the crazy natural hair haha

Thank you for this video. I have the exact same hair type. Thick, coarse, rough, CRAZY hair. 😣 the finished look was amazing. The only good thing about having coarse hair is the curls last a long time! Very helpful video!

I'm so glad you liked it 🥰🥰 thank you !! And I 100% agree I hardly ever need any hairspray and they last for days. And on top of that we will never go bald ! (Hopefully lol)

I'm very late finding this however I use the Aussie smooth oil and mine is very similar to yours, it doesn't leave it thick or greasy but it's improved my hair massively and I used to bleach it pretty much every weekend! And also a wide tooth comb :)

My hair is the same and I used to style it the exact same way, but I found a great new method! My hair has low porosity (can't absorb moisture well) which explains the frizz. A clarifying shampoo with apple cider vinegar helps open up the cuticles to absorb lots of water and now I don't need to straighten it at all. Give it a try!
@flosluna4 жыл бұрын
Thank you love ! I absolutely will try this ! :)

I love your hair, mine is the same way. My problem is I can’t get it to hold a curl from a tool. It’s totally fine with it’s own natural curls but as soon as I try to curl it, it just goes limp.
