It's the video of the century kids. I finally done did it. I'm finally gonna show you how I style my pixie!
The process is probably best for people with fine hair but the products are great for every hair type. If you're platinum please leave me your favorite hydrating products down below!

I use olaplex for my bleached hair. It repairs damage in the hair. So good.

I love your hair! It looks amazing! I have the exact same hair type - super fine and straight - and I have had pixie cuts so often throughout the years but for some reason I always decided to grow it back out again. Well, in 3 days, I‘m getting my hair cut back into a pixie from shoulder length and I cannot wait. This time, I definitely want to keep it short for longer! Thanks for the inspo and the great video!

I HAD A HAIR CUT 2 WEEKS AGO, INSPIRED BY YOURS, AND I LOVE IT. ONLY THAT I'M JUST THE OPPOSITE THAN YOU. THICK, FRIZZY AND CURLY (BEING SHORT IT'S WAVY) HAIR. SO I HAD A NON PERMANENT HAIR STRAIGHTENING, AND I LOVE THE EFFECT.

Saw your platinum pixie cut. Way too cute. Loved it. But you look great with short hair. Because of arthritis, or something else unknown in my left elbow, it was necessary for me to go really short because it's difficult to hold the hairdryer for a long time. So blonde highlights, really short hair but not quite pixie, and I'm really happy. So I look forward to anything you do with your hair and styling products you use. Looking forward to more videos.

I also have fine, straight hair and a pixie. I blowdry quick then use one product to fluff up a bit. Easiest hairstyle ever and always looks good.

Alexandra, I have fine hair and have rocked a pixie most of my life because my hair won’t grow past my shoulders and a pixie suits my face shape so well. I have been loving that OGX serum also. Some products I really enjoy are the Kevin Murphy shampoos (Angel Wash and Angel Rinse), leave in conditioner and shine spray. I also use Kevin Murphy pastes for texture. Since my hair is naturally grey/white I very seldom get it bleached and am always putting Arctic Fox colors on it. Right now I am periwinkle blue. I only wash my hair once a week, dry shampoo with Hask 2-3 times a week if needed and will use a deep conditioning mask once every 2 weeks depending on how my hair feels. I let my hair air dry most times, but will blow dry it with a protective spray occasionally if I’m in a rush to get out of the house. Hope this is good info for you. Love your videos.

Thanks! Great info, especially the products because I have a babyfine, straight hair short pixie too. Yessss, short pixie version, styling and products (if different than the longer length products) too please! When mine is shorter, two of my favorite products are Carol’s Daughter Cactus Rose Water Volume spray, and IGK Coconut Oil Gel (it’s not “gel like” at all really, more a lightweight paste or cream). After your other hair vid I tried the Prana spray conditiner (LOVE!), and the Suavecita products too, very good as well. Did anyone ever help you with the pronunciation? “Swah-veh-SEE-tuh” 😘

I also have very fine hair. I constantly have people asking what use on my hair. I use Sebastian’s, Craft Clay. Such an awesome product. It gives volume and helps me to achieve the look I like. Then to piece it out and give my hair shine I use Redkin Waterwax. These are the only 2 products I use. I hope you try them out.

I would love to see the short pixie . I am also a platinum pixie it’s not healthy (at all)but I can keep it because I am able to keep it cut often because I love it short so it works out great!

Would love to see your shorter hair version, and also what you do when your hair isn't freshly washed. I had a pixie a few years ago at totally the wrong time in my life b/c it was too high maintenance for my life then, but I know eventually I'll do it again.

@@deniselee5729 I received Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy to my head for 30 days in a row. My hair was falling out like crazy so I shaved my head. It’s grown back to my shoulders now.

Girl, love this video and everything about you! My hair is also very fine and going platinum, almost one year ago, was life changing for me as well. I also only wash once a week to 10 days. I dry it on cold with my Harry Josh dryer and protect it with either Oribe Gold Luster Heat Serum or ColorWOW Kale. Then complete with Color WOW spray for volume and use Pixie Chick's Clay Pomade, which I sincerely love, to smooth the sides and back hairs. My haircur is a bit longer than your, but one of these days I'll go super short. XOXO

I cut my pixie in lockdown. My hair is real grey. I used a bloke or dude clipper no 1 on sides and 2 on top. I directed husband to the cut . I looked quite good

Have you ever tried the Dyson on air wrap or blow dryer? I have short pixie hair similar to yours and wondering if it’s worth the investment. I use a mini baby bliss now but wondering if I would get more shine from the Dyson and reduced dry time yeah five minutes is to long. Lol

I've had a pixie for about a year but couldn't figure out how to style it (at least not in a way that I liked). I discovered your makeup videos yesterday and was like "dang I love her hair I wonder if she has a tutorial" and here we are 😂Next time I get a haircut I want to go even shorter, so if you decide to film a short pixie styling tutorial that would be awesome 😊

Funny....well, not funny....but my hair is looking like this after chemo now that it is growing back. I had shoulder length blonde colored hair for years! Now without color, it is salt and pepper with more salt than pepper. I kind of like it and want to keep it like this. It makes it easy to style and if I want to do something different, I can always throw on a wig!

It's short heir OMGaga!!! You are so so so so so high maintenance with all of your hair and skin products and steps! I can only imagine your bathroom or other storage areas for your TONS of products. Not to mention all of these steps!! So 3 hrs minimum, I know because it takes me 2 to do full glam just makeup. Is your guy super patient or what? Mine was. If yours is, it's such a blessing, my ex husband was. When will you do another haircut, style? All of that volumizing steps, and you take a huge brush and flatten it all forward on top so you smash all volume!!

Since your hair is so short, you can get away with using products that aren’t necessarily the healthiest for the hair in comparison to someone who is trying to maintain much longer or thicker platinum hair because you’re constantly cutting yours. The OGX line is full of fillers, silicones and waxes, I wouldn’t recommend it, it’s actually quite drying, but the silicones mask it. The IGK line is amazing and the Mixed Feelings drops are great, but for someone who has a lot of hair, it’s not going to be enough to maintain that brass. There are so many great purple shampoos, conditioners and even masks on the market that don’t dry out the hair, or damage it whatsoever. If you have Platinum hair, or you want healthy hair in general, listen to your stylist and try to use salon quality products and treatments. It’s just like skincare, you want clean ingredients, hydration, protection from heat, and treatments that will suit your specific type.
