Mango my Malinois puppy is 13 weeks old now and this is how I do a little training during meal times. Quality over quantity when it comes to training. www.pakmasters.com

It's so nice to see such a well trained pup. Still bouncing around like a puppy, but well disciplined and obedient. And I love those alert little ears.

Just have to say thank you Larry. Your videos have taught me so much. I bought a Rottweiler puppy early this year. I was not very confident when I first bought her because I’m a first time dog owner. I have been training her with techniques you showed on your videos and she has grown to become so polite and confident, her obedience is also great. Again, thank you for doing these amazing dog training videos!

Great video. Mango is doing awesome. I have been pretty happy with my 11 week old Goldendoodle’s progress, but dang, Mango is super impressive. I train at least 2 times a day. This video is encouraging.

Can you make a video explaining in depth your structured walks (maybe with mango as an example) and whether you do them off-leash or on leash - when and when not you should use a leash. Thank you. Great vids as always

We started training our Doberman puppy a month ago. She’ll be 4 months old this week. She’s very good at many commands but at times still chews slippers and does puppy biting when excited. Hoping she’ll stop that soon 💕

@Larry Krohn Ok so I adopted a 3yr old male Pitbull his attitude is very energetic and playfull he is good around kids but is not good around other pets he gets super excited and lunges and sometimes barks he wants to play but I need him to be more subtle and calm with his approach with other dogs he rips and tugs everything when I try to stop him he get more excited thinking I want to play he is not shy and very curious in nature he sometimes does not respond to his name or to any command at that but I got a e collar for him but I don't know where to even begin the training

Hey Larry can you show how you would go about reinforcing a fetch command, I want to strengthen that queue. I saw how you did hold conditioning with Luca, I'd like to see how you would go about doing the next step.

So I’ve just started watching your videos and I find it really fascinating specifically how are you have the puppy off leash. My question is I am legally blind and I’m getting a puppy I have been watching videos and I understand the basics but I don’t know if I should have the puppy off leash since I have sight problems what do you think? Any advice? Thanks for the awesome content please keep on posting.

What is the command to put the dogs paws on the wall? And what is the overall purpose of the exercise in the long run? Just curious. Great video I take my 13 week old female black German Shepherd through this routine and she loves it. Thank You!

Hey Larry. Wondering what your suggestions would be for a Rott puppy (14 weeks) that plays nice with other puppies at first but then goes for leg bites and latches on when biting playing.

So my pup (15 weeks) is doing awesome with most of the main commands sit, stay, come, wait. Little struggle with out or leave it. Been using high value treats and clicker/yes mark. Little issue.. just got don’t training for 15 mins and he was spot on. Didn’t reward every time except with “yes”. But 10 mins later he’s following me around but I say come and he doesn’t do it. I think oh well give him a break. Several mins later I say it 4-5 more times. Normally he always comes training or not. But he refused. I went in the other room and he’s sitting there staring at the door. The room he didn’t want to follow me in is where i bath him. Makes sense. How do I force that even tho he thinks he doesn’t want to? I took him by the collar and walked him to the door way and had him sit/stay and he did. But he whimpered on the way. Of course I didn’t bath him and we freed after a few mins of me working in that room. He does the same thing if i go in the garage. How do I train over the stubbornness? He knows the command well!

We have 2 Sisters. 3/4 Pitbull, 1/4 Lab. They will be 2 years old in November. My problem is they were NOT trained AT ALL while puppies! Nothing, no sit, no heel, no come, not a thing! I've tried to work with them but they are big now. They almost pull my shoulders out of place. I can't, wait, I haven't figured out how to take them one at a time, they go completely bananas if/when they are separated! They do not poop or pee in the house. One is great around our cats, the other wants to get them. I'm 67, I don't think I can wrangle them together. Do I take the one that freaks out the worst, by herself to work with? Would they be trained separately? I'm at a loss. Thanks to anyone who answers.

How did you teach mango the down? My 14 week Rottweiler knew it pretty well but started being a little lazy Do you think it’s a motivational problem??
@joshuahaley43676 жыл бұрын
Enrique Forgenie I would try using a new toy or treat that will excite your dog and motivate them. I have a 13 week old GSD pup and sometimes he gets lazy and goes slow on his sits and downs but as soon as a new treat comes out he goes fast and focused.
@tasha_111_6 жыл бұрын
Enrique Forgenie Hey! Could be boredom since they already learned it and need to be challenged on new things. Have you tried doing the ridiculous puppy voice? It’s ALWAYS worked for me no matter what breed. Save all your high pitched praises for when he completes the desired task and maybe end your sessions a little sooner so that you leave him wanting more rather than him burning out wondering when it’ll be over. Your dog should be bugging you wanting to do these short training sessions so make them short and make over the pup when he gets it right and don’t forget to reward him for trying especially in the beginning. Please update us!!😃

Hello, my dog wants to train but refuses to eat her meal with it. Nyla is almost 9 months now. She eats only once a day because she refuses breakfast. Even after I train her in the morning with a 1/2 hours to 1 hours walk. Is it ok for her to eat once a day? Thanks Stephanie RUTY

What about the dogs like mine that walks nice then sees another dog and then starts becoming reactive jumps up towards the dog start infixation even on a dog in a distance then gets frustrated and tries to nip my other dogs face as if to say why are you not reacting
@FAFObozo8 ай бұрын
My shepherd/pit is like this while walking my three dogs. From my understanding, you should correct the dog as soon as you see it starting to react (prong collar/e collar with a leave it command) then recall and redirect the other direction. Turning back around the original direction and continuing the process if necessary.

No training in this video, just dieting what has been trained already. Is there a reason why you name a command before it's done correctly? Or are you not training for competition? I find it harder to train a perfect heel from a wabbly heel than naming the command when it's perfect and never before.
