I imagine everything is very confusing and overwhelming for him (the snake) right now. I have confidence that Kevin will be able to help this snake feel safe and understand his new environment

I love Mangy! No idea why… his face? The way he moves? His attitude? For some reason I feel like there’s something awesome under the upsetti spaghetti attitude!❤

He has personality or snakonality in this case! That's for sure! 😃 Edit: He of course!

Surprised you didn't mention how gnarly his teeth are. GORGEOUS animal, have wanted one for a few years now. Probably my next purchase when the time is right.

I bet Mangy would bite the water being sprayed from a hose nozzle like a dog. Just not as fast. He definitely is cool in a special Mangy way.

Why wild caught? He couldn't survive in the wild anymore due to injury etc?

No Thanks-I rather deal with Tokay Geckos. Green Tree Boas/Ptyhons can do far more damage with their fangs/teeth.

How is it legal to have wild caught and why are you okay with this ?
Mangy is an Emerald Tree Boa not Green Tree Python and neither are venomous

@cloudwyrms9752 you are correet but with one caveat being that this is not a python but rather an Emerald Tree Boa

Mangy is a tree python right? I think most snakes with "tree" in their name are jerks. Anything that moves is food to them. If he was mean, he would be going after Kevin too. Food aggressive is a better description of his behavior. They stay like this. In the wild they have to catch birds and other fast animals. If you're slow, you don't eat in his world.
@REDSavage3699 ай бұрын
All his other Emerald Tree snakes are not as bad. Seems like that snake went through a lot.
@messagegoeshere7418 ай бұрын
But how many of his other snakes wild caught vs captive bred? Even among cats previous strays will always eat faster and more readily than those who were taken care of from birth.
