Eating omega 3’s stopped cysts from forming. I never got them before and then recently I had 3, I starting back to drinking fruit spinach smoothies with chia seeds, sometimes flax, and I eat salmon more often. The cysts went away in a week once I drank my blueberry banana spinach chia smoothie. I hear omega 3’a are also a key to stopping and preventing them. I hope this helps anyone.

I have been suffering from PCOS since I was 15 years old. Yeah, it's insane, the irregular periods, excessive hair growth and all the symptoms that go with it started at my youngest age. I couldn't keep up with hard diets and things got worse and worse over time. Then in my 20s, I decided to fight back and find a healthy way to prepare all my favorite meals and created a correct lifestyle that helped me reverse my pcos and insulin resistance. The key is a cozy healthy lifestyle, low intensity workout, never combine carbs with protein in a meal, high protein breakfast (no carbs), cut out sugar and reduce your gluten and carb intake. Now that I am 30 years old, I decided to create a KZfaq channel and share my healthy lifestyle with women who struggle like I always have. I hope you will enjoy my recipes. I wish you all a cozy and healthy life ❤

Thank you so much for this video - it’s so good to see a fellow South African Muslim be so open and honest about the reality of what some of us girls have to go through and give advice based on it. Female health issues and miscarriage are just swept under the rug usually and I only realised how much I needed to hear other peoples’ advice and experiences until it happened to me. This helps SO much and I truly appreciate you putting it out there. Can’t wait to see more content ❤️ Lots of love!

I just restarted my journey like, Friday, so this is timely. The isolation/ experiences of last year threw me quite far off track. My first step is giving up sugar/processed sugar/ foods. I've had other illnesses/ surgeries in the past and have been GF and vegan, but I didn't stick with it and my pain was manageable for a long time, until it wasn't. As a vegan baker I'm trying to rethink my entire approach. I don't know if I can go fully GF again, but getting back to a higher percentage of GF would be good. Thank you for sharing!

It’s about 13-15 years since I have last seen my period and I’m only 35 years. I was so ashamed of it, that to this day I haven't told anyone because of the fear of being discriminated against. I am so happy that women suffering from the same thing are speaking out. I am in a much better space mentally, finally being able to put a name to the condition that I’ve been suffering with silently and knowing that I am not alone. Now, I can finally start to process healing my PCOS.

These are some of the foods I've used to cure my Pcos naturally: - Tumeric and cinnamon (1 teaspoon of each in a glass of water on an empty stomach every morning) this help reduce inflammation and regulated insulin. - Eliminated Soya as it throws hormones totally off balance - Moringa powder - Wheatgrass powder - Ashwagandha powder - Triphala powder These were all prescribed by my ayuverdic practicioner and are all natural. All these items can be found at Dischem and/or local spice shops. Good luck on your journey ❤️

Having a more whole foods plant based diet has helped me a lot. I do still have some processed food but I am trying to eat more whole plants and cut excess oil to stop blocking those insulin receptors with fat. I have even had one period where I didn't even know it had started. Usually I get symptoms at least a week before like severe depression and I get excruciating pain. Also having more sources of chromium and inositol in the diet is excellent. Like whole grains, legumes, broccoli, oranges, cantaloupe etc. I totally agree about the exercise. A gentle stroll, non intense yoga or just working in the garden are the only activities that have ever felt good for my body!

Had no idea about acupuncture and high intensity- I'll defos take these into consideration. P.s I have recently started on hemp ( fantastic plant protein source and great for the gut because of its high fibre content and alkalizing effects😊) . Sooo much love from Pretoria!XXOxxo

What a fantastic video thank you! I was diagnosed 6 years ago. 5 years ago I cut meat and diary out of my diet and my period was regular like clockwork after my teens and early 20’s of irregular periods. I want to the gluten free and I work out and my weight is manageable. I still have cysts on my ovaries but overall my condition doesn’t affect my day to day or my cycles as much anymore. Acne was out of control but a good skin care routine of natural ingredients helped too!

I appreciate your sharing your journey !! I was diagnosed when I was 28 and my body kinda went downhill as I was told (birth control and lose weight was my only option) as if it was “sooo easy to do” subsequently there my mental health went to shit when I couldn’t lose the weight. However making small consistent changes has helped me tremendously. (And I have been following your recommendations for a while) I have a few suggestions 1. I would love if you could share , where to buy GF AND DF items ( especially like DF butter , AND DF cream and yoghurt) it would be so helpful to hear if from a SA perspective because other Channels refer to USA brands which can’t be found here. 2. Another aspect I think 💭 would be helpful is talking budget and how initially it’s expensive to switch over to that lifestyle. Especially if u live an fast paced , processed lifestyle. 3, I would also like to see a what I eat in a day (pcos friendly ) in a vlog style (with quick and easy tutorials within the video) . 4. I think a nice series would be, trying all GF AND DF desserts from every province you visit .. (when you are traveling for work) 4. A beginner slow weighted work out series , would be awesome to show viewers, what You actually mean ( we don’t expect a tutorial , but some basics would be appreciated, because we trust you) Thank you for opening this platform , and educating us about PCOS!! It’s not an easy journey and we can do with the support. Love your content. You were made for KZfaq.

This happened to me when I was 15 my cysts suddenly disappeared. Now at the age of 28 before I started IVF they counted 60! Luckily no big ones. Been a struggle my ivf didn't work due to have internal bleeding and an infection after it. But before I started IVF I got pregnant first time ever, took 5 years...funny enough was around the time I was meant to originally start IVF. Unfortunately had a miscarriage on my birthday. Was really devastated. I remember at the start of my fertility journey, I started drinking mint tea. Now I know they say to drink spearmint tea but I couldn't find any on its own without other Ingredients. So I started drinking the pukka 3 mint tea, twice a day, and I started having monthly periods. As soon as I stopped my cycle started becoming irregular. I've started drinking it again, I've started excerising more, haven't had dairy for at least 6 months and recent change I've cut out bread and a few others. Eating more greens. I've started using meditation again...I feel mentally better than what I was before constantly thinking about getting pregnant. What I do struggle with is finding foods that I like to eat without having bread, dairy etc in it. It's hard to find recipes well simple ones anyways without needing loads and loads of ingredients.

Wow! I am very impressed, especially about the gluten. When I eat gluten, I bleed vaginally and it is very scary. Ive had two biopsy’s and Thank God everything was okay. I also stopped the dairy and I am feeling much better; no bleeding. My doctor didn’t sound convinced that my bleeding was caused from eating gluten. When I see women eating pizza, I cringe; they do not realize what damage is being done to their hormones. Thank you for this video. I have to show this to my gynecologist.

I remember my friend was the first one who introduced it to me and told me all her cyst went away in 1 week, she pretty much saw them come out through her period as clots. Ginger Lemon 1 clove garlic Carrots 1 tbs apple cider vinegar Juice these and drink 1 cup everyday. Try to eliminating processed foods from your diet. Drop the chicken and red meat Use natural stuff that doesn’t have high estrogen. No more diary or eggs 🥚

I was diagnosed with PCOS at 15. The things that bother me the most are my absent periods and facial hair. I am currently 90% dairy free but not gluten free, I don't eat meat and only occasionally fish, so I feel stressed about what I can eat and what I'll have to cut out, it feels very daunting to me. And any online pcos diets I see include meat. I also enjoy boxing even though, I haven't done it for a while it has been part of my life from young. And I enjoy running, it helps me mentally and allows me to have my own space and time, this year I also signed up to do a half marathon but now I'm feeling like it may have been a bad idea. Do I really have to just stop doing these things? Does anyone have any diet suggestions for someone who doesn't eat meat and only eats fish occasionally? It honestly gets me down when I think about it sometimes.

I would kindly suggest that you reconsider meat, specifically beef and include in your diet. I was a fit 125 lbs (eating processed) until I discovered how toxic processed actually is. Anything man made, in a wrapper or packaging, and has an “ingredient” list AVOID. Fruit, beef, some veggies, and non-pasteurized dairy (pasteurized milk doesn’t have lactase in it makes ppl sick and lactose intolerant), and raw honey will work wonders and optimize your health. Look up all the vitamins, minerals, and omega 3s in these foods. If you switch completely like I did, you won’t need much in the way of exercise over and above normal chores and activity. This works, I promise. I’m 34 y/o, was 124 lbs 5’7”. Now I’m a fit energetic 114 lbs. whatever you do tho, don’t stress about it. In your heart, you already know what to do and what your body needs ❤️

Totally?! Or like really really rare? The longest I went by without my period was 6 months. But it came back once I started to work out regularly. And now I at least get them once every 2 months. (I was diagnosed with PCOS, insulin resistance, and diabetes type 1) If you need supplements to help you regulate your period, I once consumed natural raw bee-pollen and it does wonders for me. How to use: If you don’t like to consume medication, how I eat it was kinda gross but it works faster that way. Since beepollen is powder like (more like an oatmeal consistency actually), i put a tbs of it under my tongue for at least 2 minutes and then drink a warm water to wash it down (don’t throw it out, eat it). But if that way is too much, you could just mix it with water until it’s diluted and drink it. I consume bee-pollen every morning for a year i think and i got my period twice a month. I think once you got your period back you should lessen the frequency of eating. Maybe consume it once every 3 days.

Thank you. How long after stopping the pill did you get your period ? Did you have to go GF and DF completely before getting it ? I have been diagnosed with PCOS 8 years ago and I stopped the pill last month and started gluten free last year and very minimal with dairy so don’t really need to give it up because I hardly do it. This month was technically my first month I was suppose to get my period on my own which I obviously didn’t get. So I’d just like to know if there like a few months before my body actually starts to get periods or do I have to do extra things to actually make this happen besides GF and DF ?!
