How I Use Colour Palettes to Plan a Page

Hello everyone and welcome! Today I am sharing how I use colour palettes to plan out a colouring page. I'll be going through everything from how I select a colour palette to use, to how I choose the pencils or mediums that I use. I hope you find it helpful.
I find the colouring swatch charts produced by ‪@MyColourfulCountryLife‬ incredibly helpful and her colour combinations series is also amazing - I highly recommend you check out these resources.
I am planning a page in Moon Valley by Maria Trolle - this is a project book for me and I'm working through it with the wonderful Dana of Dabblerd on Instagram.

Thanks for this video. I have the color cubes both digitally and the boxes, but it was helpful to see someone actually use them. One of the things that I struggle with is picking colors. When I use a palette, I tend to have a more cohesive page. I really like the card you picked for the page.

Thank you so much for showing us how to use these. I have the virtual set and hadn't used them much. Now I understand better how to use them. I just tried it for a picture I want to do in my World Heritage: A Journey Through Time by Eriy. It worked perfectly. Again, Thank You. ❤
