We use the smallest clear command hooks around our inside window frames to hang tiny lights at the holidays. The strands stay straight and don't sag. Looks great from the outside.

I have put up command hooks all over my house after this video. It's made such a huge difference! I made one discovery: I used a command hook on my shower door to stream my clothes and laundry with a garment steamer. The moisture of the steam made the adhesive less effective and it popped off. I found a suction cup hook that works beautifully, and was able to use the command hook for another purpose. Thank you so much for this wonderful video!

Great ideas. Love the hallway ideas from keys to leashes and even art. 🖼 Are the nail strips magnetic? I’ve not seen these before. You can glue magnets on command hooks and glue metal discs or metal buttons on dish gloves 🧤 and you have less bulk and hangs easily. Edit note. Perhaps instead of saying “be careful” twice at the beginning in regards to removing hooks, say specifically what you mean by be careful. “Pull down or up along the wall not out towards you” or “ use a hairdryer to warm the adhesive so you can slowly pull it away”. You are helping so many think differently about keeping home. You have such a positive attitude. Peace

I too live in a small space & use various ones EVERYWHERE! I don't recall you saying this, but ALL of the Command hooks are reuseable! All you need to purchase is more of the strips. I use the white plastic ones in my shower for loofahs, back brush, to dry wash cloths and for my razor. I always stock up on the 3m products when stores do buy 1, get 1 free sales!

Thanks for sharing your Command Hook mistake about hanging too close to the top of a shaker cabinet door. I might have easily done that too! Also it was great to hear about all the varied and specific kinds of hooks. Great video.

Can use waxed dental floss to 'saw' between the wall surface and Command Hook strip to remove, any remaining adhesive can be stretched off or warm up with hair dryer to soften and roll off with fingertips. There is a larger version of the Sticky Nail/Universal Hanger that holds up to 8lbs, use only one hanger or hook per item hung as stated on Command packaging (using two is not recommended as neither are centrally loaded as required and one hanger/hook will always be higher and will bear the brunt of the weight and will come down) Otherwise I really love your video, fantastic use of Command products and such great organisation and use of space, awesome!

Didn't know they made bottle hangining...brilliant! You really know how to use every inch of storage! I replaced my bathroom towel rack with the large bronze hooks about 2 years ago and they've held up perfectly.

I use small clear command hooks to hang LP Albums on the hallway wall as art. 2 on bottom corners, and 2 on top corners is best for security but really just having one on the top facing down to make sure the album stays flat against the wall works too.

I use them for everything! Hung the small clear hooks in my closet for all my necklaces. And Costco sells the really big packs of the hooks (clear or white) which are great for kids’ dorm rooms (hanging those twinkle lights) & pictures. I love the Velcro for lightweight picture hanging too, also helps steady frames on walls / keep from tipping/sliding 😉

Use them to hold up a curtain rod! I even used command hooks and two 10 foot long PVC pipes as a curtain rod to hang curtains across my classroom Windows that were 18 feet wide.

There were like so many command hooks that I didn't know exist! So many good tips! I had to look up what Chuck it was because I haven't had a dog since I was a kid, lol! I did have a tip for you: when hanging something like your key holder that has those little screw hole alots in the back, put a piece of masking tape all the way across the back and use a pencil to mark where they are on the tape. Then, just peel the tape off and use it as a template to stick on the wall and mark where your hooks need to be! Oh, and the frame on the cabinet doors: the vertical part is called a stile and the horizontal piece is called a rail. :)

I love Command hooks! I live in Brazil, so we don't have anywhere near such a wide selection, but I love what I have! Thanks for the tip for hanging gloves. I was using just one binder clip to hold both of them, and since my hook is on the door, it would fall off every time I took the gloves off and shut the door. Now I know what to do! (P.S. I love the citrus Listerine haha)

I love this channel and have subscribed today. Thanks for all the organizing info!! I too an a BIG fan of Command Hooks. But I have the packaging since it is usually the weird little plastic boxes or molded plastic stuck to cardboard. So I urbanized my Command Hooks! I went to Dollar tree and bought several of the 3 compartment clear boxes with the lid that they sometimes have. I used two of the containers and put the small clear metal hook ones in one compartment with the strips, and and the white ones in another and the next size up ones in the 3rd compartment. They are a tight fit but it works. I also bought the square clear plastic boxes with a lid and use them for the larger sizes. these fit in my 3 drawer file in my 13 inch cube shelving. Because the boxes are the crystal clear, I can easily see each size I have and if I need to repurchase any sizes. I buy mine at Joann's or Michaels and use my 40% off coupon when ever I need them and don't need the coupon for something else. I don't have to wait for a sale and those dudes can be pricey so I always use a coupon. I really stocked up last time they had the hooks on sale and just happened to have a 30% of the entire purchase (including sale items)!!! SCORE!!!!

I used command hooks to hang a toilet brush on the cabinet next to the commode instead of having it sit in a holder on the floor. It looks neater, and is handy. I like to use the small ones like you use for your potholders for my scissors. I have a hook on the freezer door where I hang my scissors. I like them right where I can find them, rather than in a drawer. I also have a couple on the side of the refrigerator where I put my pot holders. Command hooks are GREAT for making use of vertical space. I need to weigh my fully loaded purse (yeah it’s pretty heavy) so I know which weight capacity hook can handle it!

An alternate for hair tie storage, I have a big ol' hinged ring, about 3-4 inches (originally used for a huge amount of flash cards), which I've been tossing all my hair ties on for years. I've just been tossing the ringed mass on top of things, though, when I could have hooked it on any basic command hook! I have the perfect spot in mind with just the right amount of unused vertical space! It's a very similar solution to the cable bundler in the end, just you can pull the whole bundle up (or down) to eye level before choosing your band. An extra step, but since it's using things I already have, that's no deal-breaker 😁

I bought the Umbra key/mail holder awhile back, & if u have a lot of keys on your ring, it does not hold well. It ended up in the Goodwill, & we went back to a simple one w hooks.

I used one under my bathroom sink for my hair dryer. Awesome! Also have them for potholders in kitchen and under sink for my dustpan. Have the pretty silver ones on bathroom door and bedroom door to hang towels.

I use the wire hooks to hang up quilting rulers in my sewing room. I've used the blow dryer trick as well.
