It’s always better to have and never need then not have and needed . Lesson learned from sandy in nyc day 3 was blessed to get it it’s no fun without power 21 days

Very good video showing what a generator with a 3500 watt rating can do, my 4250 surge and 3500 rated champion open frame inverter generator (a litter better on gas) can pretty much power everything in my house except 3 things, the central air, the electric stove, and the electric dryer, those are 240v appliances, and the generator is only 120v, but it burns a lot less fuel than a larger generator that puts out 240v, you got to keep in mind the generator has to have gas to run. Good video on real world use.

Yea I said Im in a crisis and everything is content lol. I have used this twice since this video and it has been a lifesaver HOWEVER. I would prefer to upgrade to a model with atleast 6000 watts, and that has the option to run off natural gas. It would be extremely more convenient, if I could just connect my generator to the gas line and power it up without worrying about running to the gas station every 15-20 hours. When I lived in florida during a hurricane there was no gas at the gas stations so having my own source would be crucial in an emergency of that nature. I would also like to be able to power at least one 240 volt appliance. I would use that for the central air. Im not concerned with washing clothes so much as staying cool. Not really concerned with cooking because the generator we have powers both the fridge and our ninja foodie airfryer/slow cooker

GET A CHAIN with a LOCK and LOCK that BIH UP!!!!! The MOST important thing you! My best friend learned the hard way… I tried to tell her 🤦🏻♀️

I have the same Generation but only powers up on room in my house wondering wat am I doing wrong

Not sure at one point this didn’t power one of the breakers and I’m not sure why but it was still better than nothing

How do you have your panel box wired 2 hots to the breaks and 1 one ground or 1 hot wire 1 nature and 1 ground ?
